    What is the best Star Wars movie? It will only let me make up to 10 options, so I'm not including Attack of the Clones since I have to leave one out and we all know that one is at (or very near the bottom). Also not including "The Clone Wars" movie, since I am limited with options. Pick up to 4 options, since choosing just 1 is so difficult.

    I really feel like Solo is one of the best Star Wars movies. It definitely needs a sequel (or a TV series at least). There are so many more stories that could be told with the way that movie ended.

    SOLO may not be the best movie but for me its in the TOP 5. I really enjoyed it. I rated The Last Jedi in my overall list *last* of all of them. Might put it behind the Christmas special in the seventies. i think TFA and TRoS were fun enough to watch, could have been worse but could have been better if TLJ was not in the middle. The top 3 for me are the 3 in the original series. After all I was 5 in 1977 when I started this journey. Just my opinion, YMMV. May the force be with you all!

    ANH.

    It's pretty much the quintessential film in the saga, the one almost every entry that follows takes some sort of inspiration from. It set the standard for the franchise that followed and introduced us all flawlessly to our favorite intergalactic heroes and villains. I really can't think of a single issue or hangup it has. To me, it's the best of them all.

    My top 3 favourites are:

    1st: Empire Strikes Back
    2nd: Rogue One
    3rd: A New Hope.

    Empire will always be my favourite, just for the lightsaber battle and revelation at the end.
    It probably means more to someone of my age group that saw it when it was released without any of the prequel stuff to take the edge off it, but for me those moments are what stayed with me the most through my childhood.
    Rogue One deserves second spot for me because it just seemed like a quintessential Star Wars film. It fits so well into the series without trying to rewrite history and is a brilliant prequel to ANH.
    A New Hope gets third spot just for starting it all with that mahoosive Star Destroyer shot. That one shot was like getting the keys to the candy store knowing that the owners are away for a month.

    All that being said, there aren't any of the other films I don't actually like (unless you count the Holiday Special - that one needs at least 4 drinks before watching).
    The rest all have their own WOW moments that make them worth watching time and again but at the same time they all have varied moments that you don't mind getting up and making a cup of tea to.

    1st The Last Jedi,
    2nd The Empire Strikes Back, and
    3rd (for now because it is the freshest, but this is likely to change) The Rise of Skywalker.

    I really love them all for the lore and... well, for being Star Wars, though. Great stuff! I have problems with the PT as films, but not with the idea of the story & characters. Rogue One is sinking a bit in my appreciation while Solo:ASWS is rising. That's per right now, at the end of the 2010s :)

    I voted for ANH and TESB.

    I'd have TESB as the better film but ANH a very close second as it was the beginning and the introduction of my favourite character (Han Solo) and ship (Millennium Falcon).
