Best supporting character that needs a spinoff

Including Biggs in Rebels would be EPIC!!

 

First my thought goes to Lando, though I figure he could be somewhat covered in the Solo movie, since they had some history at least. And the Lars family would probably be touched on in the rumored Obi-Wan spin-off.

I wouldn't mind seeing some stuff for Piett and Veers.

I would love to see a story about the 501st. Like the ranks of clones are dying off and new human recruits are fighting along side them even in the elite 501st.

 

It would be about how the clones at first hated the new recruits who then proved them selves. Then as a combined unit they would defy orders to retreat and strategically abandon a post but instead defend it to nearly the last man. In the end they are victorious in death and then the propaganda machine of the Empire spins it in their favor like it was there plan to hold out and defend the people . . . this is the battle where they earn the title Vader's fist.

 

Max Rebbo and the story of how he became one of the guys who rocked at the Jabba's palace.

Kidding, Han Solo is my favorite to star a spin off showing him as a Imperial Officer who is asking himself what is he doing in the Empire and, while in a mission, he found Chewie in danger and save him.

 

Han and Boba Fett would be my top 2, so if these early rumors are true, I'll be a very happy man.

Id like to see Yoda in his early days kicking but and learn how he became a Jedi.

 

Well hopefully his spin-off movie will reveal a lot more.

 

I hate to burst your bubble but I think Mara Jade at this point is already ruled out, though I would have liked to see her

I think that a cool story would be a prequel to the prequel trilogy. Palatines rise to power under Plagues and so forth. They could go any direction with this because the plaguies book by Luceno (I think) is no longer considered canon, however as we all know, the name plagueis is. In this scenario they could tie in Pre PM qui gon and even darth maul

To tell you the truth, there are alot of great characters that I would love to see in a spinoff now that the EU is no more. Many of the characters that I loved as a child and of which I owned their figures were made to be useless idiots in the EU. Ree Yees was just a drunkard who blew up in the sail barge, Bossk and Zuckuss were just retards that got suckered by Boba Fett every time, Tessek escaped the sail barge explosion just to get his brain stuck in a jar by the B'omarr Monks. Even some who didn't get figures like the Tonnika sisters were not really the real deal but just two girls pretending to be them! Even R5D4 who was just a droid with a bad motivator had a better EU story than those mentioned. I could go on and on with so many characters that could really be turned into great ones now that the EU is no longer canon as there are great posibilities. I would greatly enjoy a SW spinoff movie where the character was not a human because every single important thing in the SW universe is done by humans. The fate of the Jedi, the main leaders who started the rebelion, the Empire ect. The SW stories have always been about humans and their alien sidekicks who tag along and even if people mention guys like Ackbar or Niem Numb, I must remind you that as much as I like him, Akbar was just a dude who wanted to turn tail and run when he saw the Death Star was operational and Numb was just a copilot to Lando. Orrimaarko was even seen boarding the shuttle with Han and company but he never was seen doing anything on Endor to a point that I wonder if he was even there and not just leaft to guard the ship as no aliens besides Chewie and the Ewoks were seen in the battle. I would love to see important events in the SW galaxy being toppled by aliens and also these being fleshed out to be great characters that fans can grow to love. In a galaxy that the alien to human species ratio seems to be nearly 95 to 5, aliens hardly do anything worthwhile as everything is done by the humans. Aliens need love too so give me a cool Tessek spinoff movie or one featuring Sarco Plank and I'm the happiest guy in the galaxy!

 

Garven Dreis (Red Leader) or Jon "Dutch" Vander (Gold Leader). I'd enjoy seeing how they became squadron leaders.
