    Not sure he counts as the support-/side-character in TLJ. He's the plot device that drives the entire stor and the litteral hero that saves the day and inspire the Galaxy to greatness. I'd say he's a third protagonist in TLJ (if you count Kylo as a protagonist, that is).


    But yes, he is rather great in that one! :)

    I think a supporting character is anyone who isn’t the main character. So anyone besides Rey
