FACT- In the Visual Dictionary from both TFA and now TLJ every single individual is mentioned including even lesser worms or slug from any place, planet or organisation including equipment mentioned in the trilogy , now even Snoke and
his guards and his throne and advisers, but there is not a word about just Knights of Ren which were actually already seen in the film.

CONCLUSION: Knights of Ren no longer exist in the timeline of sequel trilogy.

What if, that same night, Kylo killed them all?.

We have proof actually he certainly killed one that night. How about all of them?

What if Kylo slaughtered Knights of Ren , "that same night", when Jedi slaughter has happened ?

I propose this possibility: Knights of Ren are actually the Jedi that Luke has trained.

Luke in fact trained First generation of "Grey Jedi"--of Ren.

Luke was First Knight of Ren. He was dethroned by Ben's mutiny.

We have another indicator that something strange was about this new Luke's knights project.

The Training camp was Stright SECRET.

That's strange, because we know that New Republic continued tradition of the Republic before the Empire, which means they should embrace the Jedi as a peacekeepers, and the Light (true)Jedi training project should not be such secrecy.

    Why was this place secret?

Like some strange things were studdied there?

Did afteral, Luke in fact himself dwelled to much on the Dark Side, only to be turned to Light after it was to late?.
Or did the moment of dark Energy burst at the moment of Palpatine's death on the second death star left on him change of his balance of the Force?
Or something else we dont know-maybe linked with influence of Snoke?

“And the lone Jedi that exists— the son of Anakin Skywalker—possesses an untouchable soul.
    At least for now."
    (Adviser Tashu, Aftermath novel.)

Is Luke actually indeed a dethroned Master of Knights of Ren, with double-sided nature?

Please look again this posters, and undobtedly double-sided nature of Luke depicted, Light and Dark.
    Like literally two different Lukes.

Where would the term "Ren" come from?

    Definition of renegade
1 : a deserter from one faith, cause, or allegiance to another
2 : an individual who rejects lawful or conventional behavior

Renunciation? Renouncing something like a code or vow or philosophy? Or maybe Renaissance? A rebirth or revival. Or maybe just some guy called Ren.

While it is intriguing and curious that Luke is on both side of the poster, I don't know about him being the 1st Master of the Knights of Ren. I do agree they may no longer be in existence with there being nothing in the VD about them. Maybe Luke already lost it, killed them which gives a partial reason for his seclusion. He saw his father in him. Or.... they just may not be in the movie so therefore are not in the VD.

Perhaps, yes! But you can have Amor matris on both sides of war, it doesn't make there choices correct. However, a 'Ren' influence can guide anybody even if the ideology is polar opposite. lol

I postulate that Ren is a place, not a religion or person. The KOR will likely only show up in another forceback vision.

RE- as a prefix in both RENEGADE & RENOUNCE is actually a different prefix. In RENEGADE, RE- designates from Latin, 'excessive force', & in RENOUNCE, RE- designates 'again' or 'backward'

Jedi Knights, Ren Knights? Is that what it's implying? Are the Ren a new order? A Gray order?

So Kylo is master of the Knights of Ren because he owned them. I like it.

Running with this... maybe all of Luke’s Knights of Ren took the Ren name?
