Kylo & Luke on the same side. That would be a shocker.

 

I just don't think a twist could hang on Rey's familial origins, that just seems so expected at this point. Any reveal on Rey needs to be played at the front door and gotten out of the way for the sake of development.

Personally, any major revelation must be tied into the Supreme Leader; TFA concluded with our villains on a course toward a confrontation with the Supreme Leader after the destruction of Starkiller Base. This means Kylo Ren will be educated and we'll learn Snoke's origins. It feels the most necessary in terms of developing the antagonists and Snoke's role as a puppetmaster.

 

I honestly think her origins are (quite possibly the best) smokescreen ever.
We are so worked up over this and no matter what it may end up being, it won't be THAT important in the long run but if we are busy looking at that we aren't digging too deep on other things.

 

I absolutely agree. Rey has become so distracting even to more casual fans that no one has asked about Snoke, Luke, Ben, or any other development. It's fascinating.

Absolutely. It doesn't matter what the answer is, people are going to be unhappy. It's a shame, but a fandom this heated and diverse means there's no way to make everyone happy, and that's going to leave a disgusting taste for some people. Whether it's Rey's parents, or who Snoke really is, both answers will leave some fans disappointed.

The ride is going to be the most fun.

 

This is the ultimate crux of all things Star Wars. Nothing will ever make everyone happy ever again.
We've honestly had too long to build our own worlds.

You just have to start going for mass appeal to get in as many people as possible to build the connections to them like we all did when we first saw Star Wars

i think the biggest reveal will be tied in with Kylo and Luke and Snoke, and what all happened to get us where we're at. there are a ton of theories on what may or may not have happened, but i'm optimistic that they'll pull something crazy out of the hat and we will all be blown away. fingers crossed!
