SPECULATION Billie Lourde's role in The Force Awakens

I'm hoping Leia's daughter. Considering she actually is her daughter, that would make the most sense - aside from a flash back sequence.

I would absolutely despise any flash back sequence that showed OT characters played by new actors. Therefore, daughter it is.

 

I have no evidence to back this theory up but with the few titbits we've gotten , I'm getting the vibe Han and Leia are split at this point , so I'm guessing after they split , Han and Leia s son ( Adam Driver ) spends his time with dad while Han and Leia s daughter ( Billie Lourdes ) spends her time with mum !

Han would not sense the Dark side of the force in Driver as he lacks any Jedi abilities , so this would leave Driver with a free run at pulling off whatever evil Sith plot he's whipping up !

Until a certain uncle comes out of hiding of course : )

 

Personally... if there is a flashback, and I am sincerely hoping there wont be... but IF there is... I am hoping for Slave Girl Leia, with the tie in to negotiations with the Hutt cartel...

JJ knows what the fans want...

 

An extra...no acting background

 

I'm thinking background character. At best one of Leia's entourage, "Yes, my Lady."

 

I was actually thinking a Kiera Knightly-esque handmaiden/body double

 

I do hope Billie has a main role. She is quite beautiful and deserves much screen time.

I believe that the flashbacks are going to be used to show that Luke can see both into the past and the future! I am uneasy to the idea of flashbacks but if it works and the movie is good, I can't complain.

 

Hmm, I wonder why there would be a flashback to teenage Leia...

 

Those wouldn't be flashbacks, per se... and I think I would find them more relevant, if used properly...

It would be interesting to have a conversation with Luke, but every time it changed to Luke's perspective he was talking to that character at a different stage of development... sometimes older... sometimes younger...

 

I think she will have some lines but I think her part will be small not a main character

 

Anyone else think they may go the Tron Legacy route a la Jeff Bridges younger CG face grafted onto a real actor? In this case, they may make an amalgamation of Carrie Fisher and Billie Lourde to make her look more like the Leia we remember. Let's be honest here, Carrie probably looks the least recognizable out of the trio.

The whole scenario is far fetched and horrible sounding, I know, but let's look at the facts. Billie Lourde was brought on at the last minute seemingly because of "the resemblance to Carrie Fisher" to loosely quote an article that announced it. Would a major role be announced so late with an inexperienced actress? I seriously doubt it. Would a Solo/Organa daughter really be relegated to a minor or cameo role? Come on, that's golden material right there, they wouldn't squander it!

Anyway, these are just the musings of a malfunctioning droid.

I'm really nervous about her in TFA. I really hope her character isn't a huge part at all for one reason... She has never acted before! Nobody knows if she is a good actor. I'm just scared we are going to have another rich character played by a horrible actor, ex. Hayden Christiansen as Anakin, Natalie Portman as Padmé..
