I don't see any of the studios rebooting a series like KOTOR. Maybe update it and rerelease the first 2, but that would involve officially canonizing them? I guess they could do that for the new time period. Call the game Knights of the New Republic. Facing the Knights of Ren instead of the Sith. Idk, I just feel like they wouldn't waste their resources on a new "old" game. But then again, if a product was successful you keep ramming it down the consumer's throats until the demand has went away.

If it isn't a KOTOR reboot then what might it be then?

• Bounty Hunter was great, but I feel like 1313 was their attempt to remake that. Unless you make it a RPG Bounty Hunter game, but then that turns into SWTOR.
• Rogue Squadron reboot? Choose your side, Rebellion or Empire and play as a pilot in one of the galaxy's greatest squadrons? Think massive PvP space dogfights, completely customizable ships, purchase and unlock new fighters, a campaign mode that spans the 30 years between EP6 and EP7, become a squadron leader and choose what pilots join your squadron.....okay I kind of like that Idea.
• Podracer? No no no...just no.
• There are also the numerous PC games from over the years that could be adapted to console play. Empire at War for example....could always make a game like Halo Wars, RTS.

I guess it'd be hard to make a brand new game that hasn't at least been touched on before.

 

Lets think of names for them

 

Do we know for sure that Bioware is working on a Star Wars game or we just assume they have to be?

We know Visceral has been working on something for a while and DICE's Battlefront is out but have we heard anything official from Bioware?

 

would be cool if the a new MMO game allows you to choose if you want to play the game set in different eras....if I want to create a character during the OT era, cool...or leading up to TFA...cool. or before the PT era....cool... but I doubt it will happen.

I hope that they would make a Star Wars game with an engine similar to Skyrim. With all the dueling, force lighting, push...
