    The figure clearly has a hood up. The cloak appears to be a dark color. I don't see Vader. Nor do I think it's anyone seen elsewhere in the trailer. It's the most intriguing scene to me - especially when you add in the Royal Guards.

    Rumor is he plays an engineer who regrets his invention of destruction, somewhat like Einstein and the bomb. So, I doubt an engineer would appear in a dark cloak in front of the emperor's guards.

    Like you guys Im intrigued about this scene.Cant recall if this cloaked person kneels.If so then I would think it is not Sheev.If that is a tank,how come the guards guard it.If sheev floats in it a question would be why.

    My guess is Vader is in the tank and about to be unleashed to go on a rampage, i.e. this is the introduction of Vader in the movie. The kneeling figure is somebody else, perhaps an inquisitor or low level dark side user. Which surprises me, since I'm assuming this movie will be light on force lore and probably not introduce any new force-using characters.

    It could also be Vader wearing a hood over his helmet/cape, as others suggest, but this seems nonsensical and just as unlikely.

    Puzzling scene for sure.

    I hope they don't "film canon-ize" the inquisitors, Ezra, Ahsoka, Maul, etc. I like to keep the option of considering Rebels and Clone Wars as EU. I don't want to have to view any of the movies that way.

    But this scene is really intriguing. The black figure doesn't appear to be Vader or Palps, but I suppose Palps could be in the bacta. I couldn't see Vader floating in there. Perhaps they are both new characters but there is a definite sith vibe to it and that scares me a bit.
