I think "2049" is better. "Androids Dream" doesn't work as a subtitle to "Blade Runner" IMO.

I didn't think it was all that great. Great special effects but I need more than that.

I saw it yesterday. I really liked it, but did not love it. The main issue I had is the score. At times, it was just over-powering noise. And in those moments, it made focusing on the film a little bit difficult. I'm a fan of traditional symphonic scores. But keyboard/synthesizer scores can work. Tron:Legacy is a perfect example of this.

Aside from the score issues it's a great film.

Well I finally got around to seeing it today & while I did enjoy the film I can see why it's not too everyone's taste. Could it have been about 30 mins shorter maybe. & I actually liked the child story line that underpins the film & the various misdirections that they use in the film plus wallaces main enforcer was a pretty good character for a villain.

    Here's also a bump:

I just saw it this last weekend (I know, I know) and I thought the feel of the original was effectively captured with the cinematography...I applaud it. As said above, the score WAS at times distracting and a bit overbearing, but I learned to live with it.

I did like the fact that it left off with the ability to be continued if one so chose.

Damn... I guess this explains why he dropped out of completing the BR 2049 score!

His death, while unfortunate, has nothing to do with lack of his score in the final film. Denis Villeneuve made a decision that the score should be more "Vangelis-esque" and that's why new composers were hired.

Saw this movie on his openingday. Liked it, but not loved it. The movie dragged for me (was 30 minutes to long) and wasn't a fan of the music.

Visually, the movie is a masterpiece (great effects, very good miniatures by Weta), just as the cinematography. I also liked the dynamic between Ford & Gosling.

I didn't think there was ever going to be another BR film, loved the first one, the second one was an artistic masterpiece. I watched all the shorts... I want more... maybe Zack Snyder can revamp his career by shooting another one.

Today I bought Blade Runner 2049 in 4K and it blew me away. I've had my 4k tv for over a year but I've not been too fussed about getting a film in 4K until now.

I really hope they release all the Star Wars films in 4K !!!

I don't think we'll see them until they do a box set of the three trilogies. They're absolutely going to come, though.

I’ve never seen a blade runner film or even watched any trailers. Should I? Someone reply back and tell me what it is like.
