Blood Machines

For those of you have not heard of Blood Machines, it is a science fiction film project inspired by the directors' love of science fiction and 80's music (notably synthwave- thank you Carpenter Brut). It is the sequel to the film Turbo-Killer

The story goes something like this: Two space hunters are tracking down a machine trying to free itself. After taking it down, they witness a mystical phenomenon: the ghost of a young woman pulls itself out of the machine, as if the spaceship had a soul. Trying to understand the nature of this entity, they start chasing the woman through space...

Clearly there are some obvious references. Chief of all Blade Runner.

It is undergoing its final funding phase on Kickstarter and I have to say I am optimistic that it will reach its target.

 

Seems good, just not my type of movie.
