    I don't recall with TFA but did Iger downplay TFA this much? I'm not saying he is not saying good things but it seems as though his comments are very measured and restrained. Is it a case of not wanting to go on record in saying this is a great film and then it isn't or the opposite or what?

    Also, his comments about Leia have me 100% on board with believing she survives TLJ and will probably be written off early on in Episode 9.

    Yes, Iger sandbagged expectations for TFA. His job is to manage public expectations so that they can exceed them. It makes Disney look good and it makes shareholders happy.
