Boba Fett in Han Solo?

I dont think so. But who knows? I think Boba Fett is getting his own movie and theres crossover potential for Solo and Fett if thats the case.

What convinced me that we're 100% getting a Fett movie is the fact that if they wernt planning on going that route, it would be a no brainer to include him in the Rogue One story. It would provide nostalgia, add to the Boba Fett character, and fit perfectly into the story.

 

Maybe as a cameo since they'll msot likely want to keep the focus on Han and Lando it seems...and I though the line was, "He's no good to me dead"

 

If the Solo Movie revolves around Han's dealings with Jabba, I would totally expect Boba Fett to show up as a cameo. He's such an easy character to drop into the background, and at least halft the fan base would squeel with joy at the sight of him (while 5% would call it a cop-out and slam the movie for it). As for Fett having a major role in a Solo Movie, I do not think so; LFL/Disney seems most interested in moving the setting and stories forward, to invent fresh characters and new plots for the franchise, so I would Guess Fett to have a semi-big part in at most one act of the Solo movie.

But yes, I would be willing to put good Money on Fett having a cameo in Solo: A Star Wars Story

Whatever they do, I have but one request: The more Jabba, the better.

I hope Bubba Fart isn't in the Han Solo movie. He's a garbage character as recycled as the clones are. Literally.

Oh he's clever because he found Han Solo? Nah. It's one of the biggest plot f*ck ups in the ESB. Bubba Fart had his ship in the garbage hold (actually, where it belonged LOL) on the very same StarDestroyer that Han happened to charge head on, and hide on. Even though, Bubba and the rest of the bounty hunters are talking to Vader on the Super StarDestroyer. Oh but I'll hide in the Garbage hold of THIS one. Because he's GARBAGE. (Oh the delicious irony)

Oh he's bad ass because he caught Han Solo? Nah, called Vader and said "Meet me on Bespin with a couple hundred of your boys in white". He needed the Empire to do it. He didn't even FIGHT Han. He's a Nancyboy. Fast forward to ROJ. Pulls the Wonder Woman on Luke by using his magic lasso. Then gets hit in his rocket pack (useful to really only fly away in retreat) and falls into the Sarlac pit.

Bro what a hardass. Please give him his own movie so nothing cool happens!

He's a bumbling fool. Jar-Jar Fett / Boba Binks.

But really looking forward to the Han Solo movie! Don't F it up, Disney!

Except for skulking around and using a batman voice, why is Boba Fett a good character?

 

I also thought there was more story there than simply Boba Fett pursuing Solo to collect the bounty, or at least Boba is the most persistent. Recall the fight in ROTJ on the skiff and Han says, "Boba Fett? Boba Fett? Where?" It seems like there is urgency/concern in Han's delivery but this may be due to Cheiwe (who tells Han Boba is there) seeing Boba getting ready to launch a rocket at Luke.

I have had a feeling that Lando, Han, and Boba Fett or going to be tied together based on Lando's line that Han "has a lot of nerve showing up here after what you pulled" and knowing that Han dropped/lost one of Jabba's shipments due to an Imperial entanglement. I believe Lando and Han's relationship will begin early in the 2nd act of the movie but that Fett will be introduced at the end of the 2nd act, tying the three together.

FYI, definitely do not watch the Star Wars Show holiday special, it has a certain Mandalorian flavor to it.

 

Has it been stated how many years before ANH this takes place? I'm guessing at least 10 years, in which case I find it unlikely that losing Jabba's shipment is something that we could see. The "after what you pulled" thing perhaps if Han and Lando really haven't seen each other for that long...

 

I hope not.

I know the old EU tried very hard to link these two characters together.....but why?

 

To tell you the truth, I'd sooner expect to see Greedo in the film than Boba Fett. In Fett's case it seems it was purely business and nothing more but Greedo told Han when he was about to shoot him that he had been waiting to do that for a long time. That sounds more like a grudge than anything Boba Fett said.

 

I don't see why everyone loves him but that's just me so I don't really want to see him in the movie unless they make him as cool as everyone thinks he is.

 

I think Fett will be in this film, but I do not think that he and Solo will interact face to face. We're sure to see a lot of scum in this film- Greedo and Jabba seem likely, IG-88 4-Lom and Zuckuss are possibilities, and Bossk hopefully gets the glorious action scene he deserves. But I don't think any of them will be the main villain... nor do I think Fett will be.

When Jango Fett died, he left a vacancy for the Galaxy's most prolific bounty hunter- a vacancy that was filled by Cad Bane. We haven't seen Cad Bane for some time, but one would think he'd have been interested in taking down Luke and the Falcon's crew, particularly with his fascination at hunting Jedi.

No, I think Han will have some run ins with Bane, but we're also going to see a rivalry between Bane and Boba, ultimately culminating with Boba taking down Bane and earning his spot as the galaxy's most feared bounty hunter.

 

The shoulder rope on Bobs Fett's pauldron is braided wookie scalp according the Visual dictionary. If there is a rescue of chewie and a beginning to the Fett feud that sounds like a good one.
