    Whats ironic about TFN is you are sort of forced to choose a side, which is what they are supposed to be against.

    I first logged on there in 2004 looking for Episode 3 spoilers and talking SW with other fans.

    I never bashed the PT, I would just say that I enjoyed the OT more. The PT gushers came after me and I was in shock of the venom towards my opinions.

    One girl named Shelley PMd me once and told me to leave the site if I didn't love the PT. So what happened was I then lined up with the PT bashers cause they never bothered me.

    They create all of the toxic behavior because they overmoderate and force you to choose a side. I'm sure this happened after TFA came out.

    I honestly didn't know what a 'basher' was until I got to TFN and all of the sudden the gushers were trolling me cause I liked the OT more. I would say, "Am I'm a Rocky Sequel Basher cause I love the Original more?"

    I used to post on the TFN boards. I got tired of the trolls and left. The Cantina is far better; it's actually on par with the community that I was a part of in the early 2000's on the StarWars.com Message Boards. Now those were the days. ;)

    I miss yodacons. Somehow, yellow faces just don't have the same panache...

    Yeah, they changed the format and some of the rules I think, leaving the old chat and miscellaneous threads a thing of the past. It was good while it lasted, though. :)

    What's even more ironic that they used to call out OOT fans like myself for not liking the SE as I wasn't a real fan for not considering it canon.

    Now they diss TFA and the ST as not canon and would say the true Saga is 1-6.

    I was also booted from the boards! I joined here after a friend said he was also banned and had gone here.

    It was a drama filled, lie filled, hate filled time. From everyone. And it ended in a permaban...a mess on all sides. It's sucks to be on the receiving end of it! I thought I was a good poster. D:

    Not too many forums of that size can brag of having a (former) admin who sexually harassed the female users and permabanned his victims when they spoke out against him for eight years, though. :p
