    Cannot [LIKE] this comment enough.

The TPM soundtrack ranks right behind Star Wars & TESB in my book.

If I must be brutally frank, the Prequel films - especially TPM and AOTC - made me appreciate the saga as a whole and Lucas' talent for storytelling. In fact, the Prequel Trilogy made me appreciate the Original Trilogy a lot more than I used to. I cannot say the same for the Sequel Trilogy. Personally, I think it is a mess.

It's actually good as hell, so...

There are two mistakes. Gungans speaking basic and "killing" Darth Maul. Otherwise it's pretty fantastic tbh. Anakin blowing up the droid ship is goofy but it makes sense. George could have made him thirteen or fourteen and that would have been cleared up. It also would have made Padme seem less creepy. The movie takes place when she is 14 and he is 9 so, that's pretty weird. Okay so, I'll say three mistakes.

Yeah, for me what's so silly about that scene is Anakin slowly pressing all the exact right buttons, even putting the ship into auto-pilot "accidentally" and having it take him directly to the battle.

I think it could've been cool for him to pretend that was happening, but for him to actually be willingly joining the fight. We'd also get to see his piloting skills a little better that way. Then, he could still be instrumental in destroying the control ship (perhaps he's shot down and crashes inside like in the movie, or maybe in some different way).

Still, I do think the battle for Naboo is one of the best battles in the series. Honestly, I prefer it over Geonosis, Kashyyyk, and Utapau.

I saw TPM six times in the theater when it came out. LOVED it. Didn't like Jar Jar but whatevs, Star Wars was back! Yay! Then, I bought TPM on VHS, because rumor was that it would never be released on DVD. Strange rumor but that's what I had heard. Popped it in the VCR and started to watch. Shortly after Jar Jar was introduced I paused it to make a sandwich. Came back with sandwich, looked at screen, stopped movie and did something else. Tape is still at that spot 20 years later. Haven't felt the need to watch that movie again.

Now, for those that like or love TPM, I'm happy for you and wish I was among your ranks! I'm just not. I have no ill will towards those that like it though, just not my cup of tea.

TPM was special for me because it was my first on in a theater when i was barely 6 years old...if you think that it stinks, then you are no SW fan because the point was originality and bridging a gap to the OT, something that post-GL star wars has not had a chance to successfully achieve...the people who are in their mid to late 20s now are only now appreciating it, if only with the memes.

Sadly, it didn't take much of a sandwich to pull me away from TPM...:(
