SPECULATION Cad Bane

I don't think Vadrr would care for a little bounty hunter...also it would be very hard to make his look convincingly in live-action. I don't think Bane needs to die and should just kind of fade off .

 

I think that Cad Bane should be a focal person for the live action show they have been flirting with. I don't think he should be in Rogue One. Would I be mad if he was in it....no....He is my favorite Bounty Hunter! But I rather him be more of a focal point than just a throw in character.

 

Like the others, I worry how he'd come off in live-action media. I suppose they did a pretty good job with Maz, but... I feel the context is a little different as well.

Also, mixing in the bounty hunter stories seems like a lot to add to something which already has a large story to it. Adding it to the narrative of the Han Solo film would be better in my view.

How long does Vader hold a grudge as well? Did Cad Bane take hostage and nearly kill Padmé at least once?

 

Yeah well maybe if he ever ran into Cad Vane...then again, VADER was the one who was responsible for Pad é's DETH .

The duros and nemodians were practical effects in the other movies, why wouldn't it be convincing?

 

That's because Cad Bane is much more physical and has way more movements than the Cato memoirists who pretty much sit down, beg for their lives, and/or walk leisurely .

 

i think too many people are wanting rogue one to have EVERY possible cameo/plotline possible. the main idea is that we're introduced to NEW characters, not old ones.. do i love cad bane? absolutely. do i want him in a live-action film? most definitely. but i don't think he would fit into rogue one..

 

While I agree, MOST people going to see rogue one have no idea who cad bane is... so there's no way they'll introduce him. trust me.. i'd love it but it won't happen.

 

We would have to find out what is the future plans for Boba Fett in order to figure this out my friend. You see, as everything EU has now been eliminated from being Canon, Boba Fett is no longer the best Bounty Hunter there is but just a simple loser who was beaten by a blind man with a stick and eaten by the Sarlacc. I say this not to ofend the Fett fans but just pointing out what we can now consider canon. Fett was just a dork in the OT but it was the EU that elevated him to legendary status. Everything canon shows us that he is nothing special and Cad Bane is way better than Fett in every way so unless they bring Fett back and build him a reputation that merits him being the best, I don't see him taking the best bounty hunter title from Cad Bane any time soon.

 

I'd like to See Cad Bane.. I honestly feel he was kinda under used in TCW!!

 

We don't know jack about r1 so you'll never know but I think it's more than likely that he would be a throwaway line and/or we'll see him in the sense where we saw those bounty hunters lined up in front of Vader in ESB .

 

I like Cad Bane. I think he's a cool character, but I don't think it's a character that fits into what I know about Rogue One.

This got me thinking, though. It would be neat to see him return, possibly in a bounty hunter-themed film or TV series. *coughStarWarsUnderworldcough*
