    Mixed feelings for me.
    Had lots of action, laughs and some classic star wars moments.
    It also felt very derivitave and a little too repetitive at times.
    In key moments I could not buy some character motivations (I guess thats how many viewed TLJ!).
    My first viewing left me feeling some of the emotional drama I love in SW had being sacrificed for the superficial and the spectacular.

    I look forward to seeing it with my niblings though.
    SW is always better with kids around!

    I really liked the faster pacing and great action. So now we have SW movies for all different tastes. This one was really enjoyable

    The movie is a lot better than The Last Jedi by FAR!!

    It could be better at some points, of course, but it is a great movie!

    Dont believe the negative reviews!

    I saw the opening sequence and it was laughably awful. There worst 3 minutes of Star Wars I've ever seen in my life, you can't change my mind.

    So I've just seen it here i Switzerland and have to say, I really enjoyed it. As all Star Wars Movies ot has it weaker parts but I think it's a great way to end the saga. Will watch it again on Friday.

    I've watched for the second time (in the same day) with my wife, unfortunately I had to leave the theater 15 minutes before the movie ends because I have to work!

    For the ones who didn't like it in your first viewing (like me) I recommend to give it another try (I had the same issue with TFA, TLJ was love at first sight) because it gets better in a second viewing, specially that this time the cinema was crowded and I was able to see the details because I've watched on 2D (I hate 3D).

    The movie still lacks in originality and sometimes is too repetitive, you will think: "I already saw this before....". The lack of originality (in a specific case or character) its kind of weird because I think I read a interview of JJ that he said that he should've more original or audacious for TFA...
    But in this second viewing I think I understand what JJ was trying to show us or the message that he would like to deliver us. I think I got it but I would like to see others reviews from the members of this forum later on.

    I would like to point it out the things that I really enjoyed in this film (don't worry I won't spoil it for you):

    - Rey - The best version of the character, this like TFA its HER movie;
    - C3P0 - A lot of lines and participation, very funny most of the time;
    - Babu Frik - Great charater, loved his design and voice and how he interacts to the others;
    - Kylo Ren - Its not his movie buy Adam Driver delivers like in the other movies.

    There a lot of others things that I really liked but its imposible to post right now (big spoilers)

    Just changed my vote to "Good" film.

    And, planning to see it a third time.

    I’m really glad you liked it more the second time. I unfortunately am not going to be able to see it until Monday because that was the soonest my family’s different schedules could line up so we could see it together. I’m looking forward to it.

    Same here, just came home from second viewing and it was 100 times better this time for some strange reason. I enjoyed it this time. And I agree on all your points for and against the movie.

    I'll change my vote too and will definately give it another try in the near future.

    Hard to discuss in a spoilerfree environment, but I can say that some things took me out of the picture - even though i knew about it beforehand. Thouht it worked better second time around.

    Just saw the movie and I wasn't blown away, maybe a bit of a let down because it had a lot of flaws and just was a lot. The movie was still enjoyable though!
    Tomorrow my second viewing and I'm still excited to see it again!
