    Uhm I don't know, I'm not a fan of forced creativity for creativity sake. All shows tried all approaches to begin something, maybe the simple approach is key, since Star Wars always was about simple storytelling. I could live with it, if they just drop us in the middle of the action after the logo.

    Yep something like that. ANH has a great opening because we didn't need to know something about the galaxy. Small rebel ship gets chased by a big ass, never ending empire ship. So in this case we have an Empire in its prime, so maybe there is a Stardestroyer hovering over a city, a landing turtle and we go down on the streets to the the Empire in full riot supression mode.
