    I was thinking the same thing. There are some RO potential ties in there as well with the SPIN spy stuff and THIS "Shortly after the Church’s establishment, however, Cronal and his loyal cadre of black-armored Stormtroopers"

    I only ever remember seeing those guys in the force unleashed games. Someone correct me please.

    I like to over-theorize I know

    I know Pablo denied ANY Snoke involment in the story in Rogue One but...

    There is guy who looks to me like a Chief of Imperial inteligence, and there are Black Storm troopers, a story again ( I know based on only few shots) resembles earlier biography of Cronal.

    It is interesting, but it is still Plagueis, simply because these kind of EU characters will not be included in the enclosed narrative space of the movies. Snoke is either someone new, yet to be explained in movie based lore, or someone already mentioned in the enclosed story presented by the saga movies: plagueis.
