Personally, i never liked either one more than the other primarily because (of course) the PT was live action and TCW is a cartoon which (in my mind) kind of put them on the same playing field. I say that because TCW expanded the PT storyline thus making the entire story deeper and fleshing out the relationship between Obi-Wan and Anakin which made their interpersonal fallout that much more tragic.

@FN-3263827, TCW was ended (to my knowledge) in order to explore a further (and later) story with Rebels.

I heard that it was losing money and had little Cartoon Network viewership due its time-slot constantly being changed because it was becoming more mature. George Lucas was the only one keeping it afloat as it was a personal project of his.

Yes, it has a nice and fitting ending :). The only thing that's missing is the tying up of loose ends.

I liked the one where Rex finds a deserter in Saleucami and it sorts of give a foresight of what him and his two fellow Clones will end up doing (removing their brainchip and not following then Order 66).

The final ever scene for anyone interested:

I never really liked the brainchip idea. The Kaminoan cloners said in episode 2 that they were genetically modified to be completely obedient. It just makes the Kaminoans seem less proficient .

Did you watch the brainchip arc?
It was made quite clear that the Kaminoans were paid off by Dooku (and subsequently Palpatine) to insert the chips in the clones. Meaning, of course, that they lied to the Republic since the start of the Clone Wars. It was not a lack of proficiency, but a lack of loyalty that they displayed.

I'm referring to Lucas' intent at the time of AOTC. They only added in the chips during The Clone Wars in an attempt to humanise the clones, and it is a change I don't particularly like.

What I like about TCW is that it goes into depth regarding the PT. alot of story arcs give alot of information regarding the whole storyline of the characters. I like TCW cause there was so much going on and as the season went on the story got better and more film like towards the last few season.

Agree. So far what I am watching from Season 2 it's making me realise that I do care now for the prequels characters more than before.

i'm halfway through the first season (decided to just watch in order because i am so lazy that way).

it was rough there for a while with those episodes with Jar Jar and Kit Fisto, but whenever Anakin and Obi-Wan are on the screen, i get happy again.

there's still a lot about the show i don't like aesthetically, but i enjoy Ahsoka and the clone guys way more than i expected, and i like Dooku better here too.
Gunray and Grievous kinda bore me, though. and i still hate the battle droids. wish they showed Padme more. but i guess it's still early.
