I was feeling nostalgic and found the NPR radio drama on Youtube. Lo and behold, the second episode is all setup for Leia's escape from Vader on the Tantive IV. There's actually quite a bit about the attack that led to the Death Star plans being stolen! And it's all canon!

This really takes me back, by the way. My parents recorded it off the radio when it was originally broadcast. It was standard fare for road trips from Alabama to Arkansas to visit grandparents. Captain Sisko's (Brock Peters) dad playing Darth Vader!

My understanding is that it's not canon....only the 6 movies from the two trilogies, Rebels, Clone Wars and the newest novels/books. Everything else....legends.

    Here's the list:

Ah. I'm still operating on the old ADCD Canon. Can't seem to get the new list straight for some reason. This is what happens when you've ben a fan literally from Day 1.

Still, I wonder what influence the radio drama might have on Rogue One?

And who knew her ship was called the Tan-ta-vee Four? I thought it was Tan-tiv all these years.

Oh I know...trust me. That "Day 1" thing...yep '77 in theaters here also. As far as I know, it's correctly pronounced "tan-tiv"....I think you've been right about that one all along. :)
