Its tragic they didn't use Padme developing the Rebellion and so forth. I also read early drafts of TPM had Jar Jar Binks as a serious character sort of like a scoundrel.... tragic! it goes to show, that some fan ideas were considered but not ultimately used, or some ideas that seem popular aren't used for whatever reason.

I will never listen to Kristian Harloff when it comes to rating books or comics. He constantly went back and forth with A NEW DAWN written by John Jackson Miller, so whatever he says about Thrawn Zahn's new book, I would not consider, although; Ken Napzok is well read, When he explains or reviews a book its intriguing and you generally want to know more, however; Harloff always comes off as superficial, like did you actually read the book, or did you audio book it? Harloff never seems to delve deeply into a book and says I don't want to get into spoilers which I think is a cop-out.

I agree in terms of Harloff, he seems to lack conviction in a lot of his statements, consistently going back on forth on things dependent upon what the popular, majority view is. He once did a video talking about the top ten characters he'd like to see get a spin-off film, with Boba Fett being number 2 or 3, but then began acting like such a thing was nonsense and talking down about it like it would be a silly idea; when A New Dawn was released, he initially praised it, but then as more people said they didn't like it, he began to change his view. There are other examples.
Not criticising him on a personal level, I don't know him, he could be a decent guy, just that he seems to be a bit of a band wagon jumper.
To be fair though, I tend to find most of the Collider videos pretty patronising in general.

Well said, could not have said it any better then that. I don't want to personally attack Harloff since he gave us a forum to discuss Star Wars which he constantly reminds the fans that he came up with and created himself. And by the way, he created Shmoedown show too if anyones wants to know. heheheh Sometimes I wonder is he really a Star Wars fan or just a host...jk.
