Come Up With Your Own Book Or Comic

is it about Ahsoka or did you make up your own characters?

much as i'm tired of the cliché Arkanis "Hunger Games" Academy, i'd like to see something about the early officer training program or stormtrooper program for the FO. we get some glimpses in Finn's Before the Awakening story and in Phasma, but it's not enough (it's never enough! hahaha).

 

No my own characters but I’m sorta stuck right now I might stop for a while until I know how to continue it.

 

I'd like to have a comic with Luke, Han and Leia that doesn't involve characters such as Sana and Aphra.

Not that I care that much though. I used to read all of the old Republic comics by Dark Horse, which had really compelling stories and beautiful illustrations. I couldn't care less about the new comics that Marvel is putting out, the art is childish and lazily drawn, and the stories are weak and too short.

I really miss Jan Duursema.

 

How about a comic where they're simply one day trying to figure out where to go to eat some food, but theyre so infamous that they have to find their way to Maz's castle eventually without being caught
.

 

Origin of the Jedi and Sith

 

I'd love to see...

- The adventures of a younger Dooku with Yoda- maybe the one where they fought the Terentatek on Kashyyk, their force bond and maybe the seeds of his questioning the jedi order and corruption in the republic. Qui Gon could appear in this as a youngling.



- What was Quinlan Vos doing on Tatooine during the events of TPM- maybe it has something to do with smuggling operations? Or Aurra Sing's being present there at the time? This story could also feature Aayla Secura.



- The story of Jaybo Hood, which could have him traveling across the galaxy witnessing the end of the clone wars, the rise of the empire and the rebellion....maybe even helping the rebels from behind the scenes with slicing and droid intelligence.

 

A story about Tatooine, maybe written in a historical fiction style, detailing the rise of the Hutts on Tatooine and maybe a fewed between Sand people, Jawas, Krayt Dragons and human settlers.

 

Anything pre TPM would be nice, as well as something between ESB and ROTJ. And between ROTJ and TFA (I assume something comes after the release of TLJ). They could be both comics and/or books.

 

I'd definitely be interested in this... plenty of mileage for expanding the galaxy, or for spending more time on worlds that aren't covered that well in canon yet. Plus it's a good opportunity to work in more of the Hutts, and how that whole part of the galaxy operates.

Not sure I'd get much support for this, but I'd also quite like to see a Hondo Ohnaka comic for similar reasons!



Having just finished Catalyst, and having been impressed with Ben Mendelsohn in Rogue One, I'd also be interested to see some more Krennic pop up somewhere, though I'm not sure what they could do without basically doing the same as they did with Tarkin.

I also think there's a book to be had with Qui-Gon's backstory, but given that characters story hasn't been touched in such a long time, I think they'd have to tie it in to something like a Kenobi film to draw interest.

 

Cad Bane comic

It could either be set before the Clone Wars, or the first scene could be the cut duel between him and Boba, and the comic could follow their rivalry after that duel (assuming both survived) eventually showing how Boba secured his place as top dog.

 

+ 1 for both Hondo and Krennic. i like both of these characters a lot and i think you could do some fun stuff with them. : D

 

A Padmé novel, definitely.

I've been hoping we'd get something centered around her. Whether it be a novel, comic, film (hahahaha), anything to expand on the character further. She's such an essential part of the overall story.

I think it would be fascinating to set the timeline between the moment she finds out she's pregnant, to her death, as dark as that may sound. Just to see what was going on in her head at the time, what she was truly feeling and how she dealt with it all. One of my biggest complaints with ROTS has always been how her character was handled. And you know... there's the talk about how she was supposed to have a much bigger role... but I'm not gonna get into any of that.

If I had the power to myself create one piece of canon, that would be it.

 

I always liked the idea of the Death Star novel, about what was going on inside before it got destroyed, but they put too many nobodies in it like the bar staff instead of concentrating on people like tarkin. So I would quite like a comic about that. Let us see inside the Death Star and all the ships and weapons. Then end it how the novel does, by including all the movie scenes but from a different point of view,

I quite liked Mara jade as well so I wouldn’t mind a comic about her, but I’m not sure what’s canon and what’s not nowadays, so maybe she doesn’t exist in Disney’s world

We need more stories about Qui-Gon. I know he was a bit of a throw away character but he's intriguing. You could even have a trilogy. The first one would talk about his origins, how he came to be a Jedi, who raised him, etc. The second one I'd like to see him as a padawan and going on some adventures. The third would be about him becoming a master and also I'd like to see conflict between him and the Jedi council.

 

Like Space Seinfeld

 

I want a Rebels comic that can go places the show can't. Not that it needs to be game of thrones or anything but, you know, a version that doesn't have to be a kid's show. And do a new take on the art--a more realistic style to fit with the other comics, more than copying the show.

 

A novel that only has stormtroopers as POV characters, focus on a group of troopers in the 501st or similar in the OT timeline. Plot style like Lost Stars featuring movie moments

 

The Legend of the Lost Planet of Youth: A Novel

Our story begins a few years after the Battle of Jakku with a down on his luck smuggler on a weak-tea run between Ylesia and Commenor when he's violently pulled out of hyperspace by an Interdictor Cruiser commanded by pirates, fortunately for him, the pirates aren't after his cargo, but something else entirely. The Cruiser is attacking a small star yacht which promptly explodes, but not before launching an escape pod. The pirates, seemingly satisfied, jump to hyperspace, leaving our smuggler alone with the wreckage and the escape pod. In an unexpected surge of altruism, he docks with the pod and rescues the escapee. The individual is a rather vocal historian and xennoarchaeologist who is extremely upset, but not about her ship getting blown up, the pirates had stolen something very important from her.

While completing his trip to Commenor, he learns that the historian had been researching a planet called Dwinrey Kalaniss. Apparently it was a mythical planet so heavily imbued with the Force that just setting foot on its surface would make you immortal. The historian had discovered its location and inadvertently let slip her discovery to the wrong ears, and the information found its way to those pirates who had chased her down and forced her to transmit her star map data. With a considerable amount of monetary persuasion, the historian convinces the smuggler to help her find Dwinrey Kalaniss before the pirates do. While he doesn't believe any of this malarky about a lost planet of youth, and those pirates seemed particularly fierce, the credits are too good to pass up.

Throw in some ex-Imperials who are also competing for the prize and a motley team of the smuggler's business associates to help him along and you've got a story.
