SPECULATION Compiled shot by shot breakdown of all trailers!

Okay, bear with me, I am working on putting all the trailer screenshots together to try and piece it all together. Spoiler Speculation!! I can only have 30 pictures, so I am focusing on some of the bigger scenes.


The village attack

Poe lands on Jakku to meet with resistance fighters and gather Intel against the First Order.
The First order learns of Poe's arrival on Jakku and the location of the village meeting and sends troops to find him. Here they are waiting to disembark

Captain Phasma leading the troops through the village searching for Poe.

Command shuttle of Kylo Ren landing in the village in hopes to find Poe.

Poe can't leave the village because the First order has arrived to capture him, he must fight.

Poe watches Kylo's shuttle land and he prepares to line up a shot.

Kylo Exits his shuttle to aid in the search for Poe.

Kylo senses Poe's imminent attack on him and turns around and attacks him with the force.
After all this Poe gets captured and returned to Kylo's flagship.

Finn is visibly shaken, his Stormtrooper friend has died and has just witnessed a massacre at the hands of the First Order.

Onboard Kylo's ship Poe is tortured for information.

Finn swaps out his armor and decides to defect and escape the First Order, in order to get out he needs a pilot, he pretends to be transporting the prisoner (Homage to ANH) and begins to steal a TIE.

The First Order catches on but Finn and Poe let them have it on their way out the door.

Then they get shot down and crash land on Jakku.

Finn wakes up, abandons Poe and tries to get the heck out of dodge.
He finds a small place where he can hopefully find a ride.
Finn and Rey meet.

Finn and Rey run from the First Order and somehow get to the Falcon.



Around this time Finn and Rey meet Han and Chewie and decide to team up.


He tells them the truth about the Force, the Jedi, the Darkside, he has become this Episode's Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The Battle of Takodana

The Heroes head to Maz's castle to try and learn information.

What a crazy looking group of characters.
Maz reveals some information that Rey doesn't like and Rey runs off.

Rey sees the FO begin to land their troops and start attacking Maz's castle.


Finn, Chewie, Han get captured...

But here comes the Calvary!

Red 5 to the rescue!




Rey is angry at the universe and wants to kill everyone, but she gets so angry she loses focus she gets captured.

Resistance Prepares to rescue Rey and attack the Star Killer Base

The two men share a "let's get our girl back" moment

Han tells Leia that Rey is being held prisoner by Kylo (Whatever the relationship is, it causes enough hurt for Leia)

General Hux addresses his troops in preparation for the coming battle

"Here they come!"

As Darkness falls Kylo faces off with Finn....lol Finn loses...gets his arm cut off. (Why not? Everyone else loses an arm)

Rey is upset about Han and Finn, she will pick up the lightsaber and fight against Kylo. To a stalemate and Kylo escapes. Chewie arrives with the Falcon and shines the lights on Rey.


Obviously there are other screenshots I didn't use, like the KoR which I believe is a flashback to the destruction of the Jedi Academy, etc. This is just what all I have pieced together! I would enjoy your take on this!

Thanks, I would add to it but the rest would really just be a couple of extra screenshots that fill in what we already know, and then some random scenes that we still don't know where it is taking the film.

Based on my speculation we still don't know a couple of the big things:
Where's Luke?
Who is Kylo related to?
Who is Rey related to?

We may know the overall plot of the Resistance vs First Order based on my assumptions but we don't know the individual storylines themselves.
