    Hi creatives!

    Anyone here actually contact Lucasfilm about a fan project before?

    I remember 'Star Wars Theory' talking about this for his Vader film, but I can't seem to find any contact info online.

    I'm currently developing a screenplay with A LOT of concept art (and possibly some video shorts)

    My goal is to release these on my website and social media platforms.

    Just want to make sure I'm doing everything SMART. :)

    I am currently trying to go through the process of doing this with a game I made. So far I have to go through the form factor way of requesting IP: going to The Walt Disney website and following their FAQ. It should direct you to email a Chris Holm at LucasFilms, I haven't heard anything back yet and am basically sitting on my already made content waiting to hear back. I hope you have better luck!

    But I did find a generic email address:

    fanrelations@lucasfilm.com

    And got a generic reply:

    "...I assume this is a fan film? If so, we simply ask that the film not be publicly crowdsourced for funding or use any protected logos, music, etc. Also, Star Wars fan films cannot be monetized in any way, via screenings, online, or other."
