I don't see your point. Whatever you are a girl or a boy, you have to be young at one time.

Yeah, I highly doubt this theory will be revealed as true. I don't like the idea of reincarnation in Star Wars and it would hurt Rey as a character by making her Anakin reborn. She stops being herself.

Anakin's story is finished, now it's Luke one. We have never seen Luke as a Jedi before and the sequel trilogy will focus on this along with Rey's conflict. Vader is great but no need to bring him back. only voice is enough. Star Wars must avoid time travel and reincarnation.

Just watched ESB and the scene where Yoda said "there is another" I got all chicken skinned bc I'm thinking that he's talking about Rey. I mean it was probably a hint to Leia being Luke's sister and Darth Vader's daughter. But after watching TFA, Rey is obviously going to be the "another" that Yoda was referencing because of her strength in the force. Yoda must have sensed that Luke will have a daughter or that Rey will have a huge impact on the universe. It just depends on if Leia is stronger than her in the force.

Agreed as long Luke gets a good send off in this trilogy he & dad can have a catch up in a force reunion party.

TESB was at least 35 years before the events of TFA. Rey is 19 in TFA...

Ergo, he was referring to Leia. ;)

Isn't the Force essentially about reincarnation, from a certain point of view? The Force is the energy created by all living things. And as Yoda says to Anakin in ROTS: "Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force...".

So if Anakin embodied the energy of the Force (which made him the chosen one - regardless of how he was actually conceived) then once he dies would that energy not rejoin the Force? And thus, if Rey is another balance restoring chosen one (regardless of where she comes from and how she was conceived) then perhaps the energy of the chosen one is something that is passed along or reincarnated?

I'll say it again, when I watch the end of ROTJ now it leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth that Anakin is fully redeemed. The evil he committed was horrendous. I'm not sure one act of self sacrifice remedies that. I kind of like the idea that his energy has been reincarnated and only when Rey follows the true path of the Jedi and makes amends for the evil deeds of the chosen one, will there be a true redemption and perhaps a true balance in the Force.

I feel as if Ray and Anakin could potentially be related somehow. However there is a multitude of reasons that they are not the same person. One being Rays misinterpretation of the force. Anakin is arguably, in my opinion the best Jedi to live. Ray does not display the same characteristics. Such as in the clone wars. Anakin was a very young Jedi standing his own against a Sith Lord. Rays familiarity with the force how she was able to use a lightsaber against Kylo Ren shows that she contains adequate ability, but she is not Anakin.

They are trying to distance themselves from what came before...I kind of doubt they would go that route unless JJ is brave enough but if they do, I believe that it would not only tarnish George Lucas's legacy, but it would also tarnish Anakin's reputation for what he did for the galaxy..
