D23 Expo Returning to Anaheim in September 2022

    The D23 Expo is happening in 2022, with details announced today on the schedule and tickets for the event.



    The D23 Expo 2022, presented by Visa, will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center from September 9th through the 11th, 2022, and as usual with this fan event, will focus on Disney's core brands like Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar.



    This year's event will also inaugurate Disney100, the centennial celebration of The Walt Disney Company, with an exhibit curated by the Walt Disney Archives highlighting the anniversary. The Expo will also feature over 50 shows, presentations, and panels encompassing all of Disney's creative efforts across movies, streaming, and beyond.



    Details on the exact nature of the panels are a mystery for now, but details on the Expo itself reveal that the event is expanding for this year beyond the main hall with more stages featuring more entertainment for fans.



    Tickets go on sale on January 20th, and a number of packages are available, ranging from single-day tickets to three-day passes. There is also tiered pricing available for D23 Gold Members and non-members. Full details are available on the D23 website.
