Dark side/Sith eyes in TFA and Sequel Trilogy

    This is one of the great ideas introduced in prequels. When you embrace the dark side of the force fully, it reflects on you even physically. Most notably in the red-yellow colour of your pupils.
    This started with Darth Maul, Palpatine had them, Anakin had them as well.
    Count Dooku however was devoid of this effect. Also, Inquisitor in Rebels also has ''Sith eyes''.

    Do you think, we will see them also in TFA? For example on Kylo Ren?

    I think that yeah, we'll see them at some point. I'm not 100% sure that Kylo Ren will have them (though I wouldn't be surprised), but I think Snoke is almost a lock with what we know about him so far.

    i doubt Kylo will, what with not being "evil" (according to Driver), but i think @AlienofDoom is right in that Snoke will. then, maybe when Rey turns to the dark side in ep 8 she'll have them change too :p

    I'm actually not a fan of the "yellow eyes" thing. It feels like it's much too obvious of a tell for evil. Like, I'm okay with Palpatine being all yellow-eyed because he's supposed to be the incarnation of evil as far as the story in the movies is concerned, but Anakin was pushing it.

    Maul gets a pass because he's an alien and his species might have yellow eyes for all the audience knows.

    And, fair enough. But while Christopher Lee seemed relatively tame in the PT, he seemed like an absolute Sith Peedunky in the cartoons.

    Also notice that Obi-Wan blocked Dooku's lightning with a saber but Yoda couldn't block Palpatine's lightning with a saber.

    I think Sidious was conciously controlling his eye color or disguising his true eye color.
