Would you like a Darth Bane spin-off? I think the book trilogy was great and would make an excellent movie. Darth Bane is indeed canon (not nescessarilly the novels) because he appeared in The Clone Wars and also mentioned in The Phantom Menace's novelization.

Technically speaking, the novelizations for the movies are only canonical when they agree with the movies themselves, according to Leland Chee. Which is a shame, because I've heard that the Revenge Of The Sith novelization had some really cool stuff exclusive to it.

I believe that a Darth Plagueis spin-off would most likely come out first, given its closeness to the timeframe of the movies. I think that Old Republic stuff will likely be saved for much later.

More than likely, I just feel that Bane's story would make a better movie.

It'd be best not to get into the Old Republic era again until this canon mess is all sorted out. If you tried diving in and canonizing everything from that era, writing for it without contradicting anything down the line is a practice that could prove one thing: that it would be extremely painful.

I loved how Bane's armor in TCW returned to the Samurai roots of the Jedi and Sith. It whetted my appetite for something set in the days when Jedi and Sith dressed like Samurai and perhaps resembled Samurai in other ways as well.

The Bane trilogy books are some of my favorite reads. I found the story of how he formulated and implemented the Rule of Two absolutely fascinating. Seeing a young Darth Zannah up on the big screen snapping necks and exploding people's hands before she even knows how and why she has such powers would be awesome.

I'd love to see a Bane spinoff film(s).

I think they`ll retcon lots of stuff eventually - Darth Bane, maybe even Malgus and stuff.

I would love to see a Darth Bane anthology, and go from there for other Sith anthology movies, maybe Darth Revan. Darth Bane learn the rule of two from a Revan holocron.

I love the idea, but don't think it would ever happen. It doesn't seem like the most family friendly thing to make a film starring a bad guy.

If Disney were smart they would give the people what they want and crank out Star Wars films like Marvel does. Im talking like 2-3 a year. It would be F*@cking insane. They could do the old republic, the ST, anthology films, and blast even more prequel movies for all I care. People will still see them, they will destroy the box office and everybody on this website would be giddy as f@*k. I want a General Grievous movie, Darth Maul movie, Boba Fett movie, Darth Plagueis movie, Bane MOVIES, a Qui Gon Jin movie (Liam Neeson of course) and in every single one I want them to repeatedly kill Jar Jar Binks just so we can all get some pleasure out of that stupid manifestation that George Lucas created. Drops mic.

One day Star Wars will be the way of life. There are more story possibilities in Star Wars then I could count. I'm sure we will start seeing a massive increase in everything Star Wars once they get their multi-billion paychecks come December 18th.

Right, I believe they could do 2 more separate Star Wars Trilogies on Old Republic canon over the next 30 years keeping Star Wars going for a long time. A Plagueis movie would be awesome

To go along with this sith anthology idea, I think it would be really cool to learn more about Darth Vader's back-story. We haven't really seen much on him. He's a character that Star Wars could have really expanded upon and Lucasfilms really missed an opportunity there.

I agree. I think it would be cool to see where Darth Vader grew up and what he was like as a child/young adult.
