If I had to guess I'd say that he's in it for around 25 minutes total screen time but not all in a row

25 minutes is too much. Kylo Ren had hardly more than 20 in TFA. My guess is 10 minutes tops. Any more and he gets main character status.

 

We'll see

1.Vader with main villain
2.Vader in action with death troopers
3.Vader in action vs rebels
4.Vader in bacta tank

And that's all folks...

 

I'd want to give him 30 minutes screentime

 

that sounds about right.

Well said. I think even a few minutes (I think somewhere around 6 - 10 minutes) of screenplay will have such a powerful impact on the film that it will just blow our tiny little minds away.

I'm surprised by Kylo's screen time but it makes sense.

 

One thing I've noticed is how many continue to spell Rogue as ROUGE!! Just because you have spell check doesn't mean you shouldn't check what you're typing!

Fun fact: "Rouge", apart from the cosmetics item, is a French word and it means "red". So, when someone says "Rouge One", they mean "Red One", meaning the first of the Squadron Luke was in during the Battle of Yavin.

I've heard, or read, something about Vader:
Before ANH, the last time we see Vader is in Rebelz : first, he fights Kanan and Ezra and secondly, he fights Ahsoka.
In both fights, he is extremely powerful with the lightsaber.
Then , we see him in ANH. And we're facing an aged fighter...
What could explain that big difference, between that Vader easily defeating Kanan and Ezra in Rebelz, and that Vader who moves his saber with difficulty in front of Ben Kenobi? Less than 5 years separate Rebelz from ANH...
What I read stated that Vader had been severely injured. And, perhaps, he would be the one in that bacta tank...


What do you think of all of this, guys ?

 

I think the difference between the two Vaders lies on the fact that in 1975-77, the stunts the actors could do with a limited budget (seriously, the first Star Wars movie didn't have much money and even then, the majority of it went to Alec Guinness) and the movements the animators can give to a character made on the computer are night and day.

It's just a headache now for the story team to find a legit reason for the difference.

 

What's the Story with the belt buckles on the Death Troopers?
Why is it the same as Vader's?

wanted to also point something out.... The Empire is Vast...... just because we don't see the Death Troopers in A New Hope doesn't mean they aren't around...

we don't deploy special forces to every US conflict! Just saying and thinking outside the box..

 

Simple: the last time Vader faced off against Obi-wan Kenobi, he lost an arm, two legs, and wound up on a life support suit. He is taking zero chances. He's trying to keep Obi-wan at a distance, and on the back foot.

With Ahsoka, he's facing his former apprentice in a location rich in Dark Side energies. For all the strength that Ahsoka demonstrated, Vader was still probably getting a major booster.

 

Good catch! I overlooked that. Maybe they’re closer to Vader then we think… But on the other hand, somewhere it was written that they are Krennik’s henchmen. Let’s see.

 

i expect too see how he got injuries and put into the bacta tank but now realizing that is Ben middleson or however its spelt character going to the tank we saw in trailer.

I also want to see him do combat with his troops force choke, even maybe get force pushes, or Vader lifts up a rebel or dead storm trooper and uses thme as a shield.

 

Agreed Greg I want to see the whole aggressive Vader package
