    Sorry, couldn't resist. :D

    (Cues silly music)
We're knights of the Ren table
    We dance whenever we're able
We do routines and chorus scenes
    With footwork impeccable

We dine well here in Renelot
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot

We're knights of the Ren table
    Our shows are formidable
But many times we're given rhymes
    That are quite unsingable

    We're opera mad in Renelot
We sing from the diaphragm a lot

War we're tough and able, quite indefatigable
Between our quests we sequin vests
    And impersonate Darth Vader
It's a busy life in Camelot

I have to push the pram a lot....

Can someone tell me if the spoilers above are for Episode 8 or Rogue One? If for R1, I have already seen the movie, so I will click on the spoiler icon and read the discussion. If for Episode 8, I will not read the spoilers. Thanks.

I agree, but here's my take on that...Palpatine gave Vader the castle himself as a slap in the face. It seems like a very Palpatine-esque thing to do; build the illusion that you are giving your servant a lavish reward, and then set it up in the very spot of the greatest failures of that servant's life (the place where he ultimately ended his wife's life, and was mangled almost beyond repair by his former best friend/brother/father-figure).

I can just imagine Vader roaming the halls of that castle alone, dwelling on his anger and hatred as everywhere around him are reminders of the worst day of his existence.

If Rian and Colin keep with the midieval theme then I'd say it's quite possible and would be pretty cool.

Palpatine wanted his apprentice to always be in pain. Kinda like how he had Vader's suit made out of substandard parts as punishment for not killing Obi-wan and for the discomfit to fuel his rage.

How could this be vaders castle? that flashbackt doesnt look like its on Mustafar. Mustafar is a volcanic planet . Unless maybe Mustafar has changed since then and it does rain on Mustafar.

Yes, the flashback scene of TFA doesn't show Vader's castle. It's something else. But we are not talking about the flashback here.

I think it would be completely in keeping for the Knights of Ren to be headquartered on Mustafar. Kylo's obsession with his grandfather would almost dictate that he hold the planet where Darth Vader was "born" in great esteem, or even live there. Heck, maybe that's where Snoke is, and he's taken up residence there. I know a lot of concept art for TFA features Snoke in a lava-filled area, and Mustafar certainly fits the bill.

I really dig your idea. But how reliable are the rumors that Snoke's lair is mobile and that the Knights of Ren are dispatched by Luke when they attack Ahch-to in Episode 8?

I hope we see the Knights of Ren leaving from Vader's castle. They should give each one their own personal starfighter and a command carrier to dock in. Nice fantasy/sci-fi mashup. Castle and Knights with sci-fi elements.

And why the hell haven't they released a Knights of Ren figure set yet??? It gives nothing away! We saw them already! Take my money Disney you selfish $%&^@s!

Personally, I love the idea of Vader's Mustafar castle from Rogue One reappearing in Episodes VIII and/or IX. I think it'd be the best possible place for Snoke and the Knights of Ren to work/live as well as a great setting for Kylo Ren's training and the final battle between Snoke and the Skywalker family. Also, seeing Luke Skywalker on the same planet where his father was burned to death in Episode III would give me chills running down my spine.

Slightly off topic here, but if Rey has another vision like in TFA, I think it'd be really cool if she saw Anakin and Obi-Wan fighting on Mustafar in Episode III, especially since I am a supporter of the Rey Kenobi-Skywalker theory.

    Exactly!

That would be a nice way of bringing back Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen. Rey will probably have another vision about something.

I love it. And I'm 90% sure it will happen. Chances are the castle was only featured in RO to make for a greater impact when it appears in SW 8 or 9. Not only will it add a medieval tone to the movies, but it will be a great way of having Vader/the dark side/the horrendous past of the Skywalker family looming over the characters. The melted helmet is mighty creepy, but Vader's beast of a castle is straight up terrifying lol

A great tester, which many, including myself absolutely loved. I really would not be surprised if Kylo and the Knights of Ren call this place home, or at least have made the pilgrimage (medieval/religious themes), having already searched and found Vader's helmet, sounds like a very plausible thing. Kylo and Vader's castle, Luke and the first Jedi Temple - let the battle commence.

Yeah, this is one of those things, like the (re)introduction if the Whills, that seemed out of place in Rogue One, but is likely teasing for a bigger reveal in the future.

Agreed with those who feel the reveal of Vader's castle in Rogue One, while awesome to see, was probably included to set up its appearance in Ep 8. It's not hard to imagine a scene of Kylo on Mustafar as part of his studies -- or, mirroring Luke's decision to abandon his studies early in ESB, Kylo disobeys Snoke in order to pursue his grandfather's legacy, traveling with the knights of Ren to Mustafar, trepidatiously entering Vader's castle, maybe even sitting on Vader's throne.

Yeah, the castle looks awesome, and it seems somewhat out of place in RO, in the sense that it doesn't really serve a purpose in the movie. Vader's isolation could have been conveyed in many different (and much simpler and cost effective) ways. On top of that, when that castle comes on screen it's like you've switched from a war movie to a medieval fantasy. Meanwhile all the knights are in the main trilogy. Clearly, the castle belongs there :)

I love your idea! It would be great if the castle turned out to be a safe place for Kylo Ren and the knights, away from Snoke and the FO. We don't know much about KOR (at least I don't), but it seems to me that the organization doesn't share too many goals with the FO. I wouldn't be surprised if we came to find that Snoke came to control KOR by force. It's supposed to be an old order (I think), and we don't know when Snoke rose to power or when he started to control it, but chances are it's supposed to function independently. I might be wrong, but I can can imagine KOR turning against Snoke eventually. Unless Snoke actually created KOR......but still, that doesn't mean they can't turn against him :)

Hopefully there aren't just 7 knights like we saw in TFA. As far as we know they're not force sensitive, so there could be hundreds or thousands of them. That would make for a very entertaining civil war within the FO, wouldn't it? If I had my way there would be 2 civil wars, FO vs KOR and the Republic vs the Resistance, alongside the main dark side/light side war.
Something like....the Republic trying to get rid of the Resistance because they're gaining too much power, the Resistance trying to destroy the FO, the FO trying to destroy the Republic, and the KOR rebelling against the FO. Which would mean.....The Republic fighting FO and the Resistance, while the FO and the Resistance are fighting each other. At the same time, the FO is fighting KOR. And KOR might be fighting the Republic and the Resistance too. Just madness :D Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings style ha ha Let's see what strategic alliances they can come up with, and who's left standing at the end of episode 9 :D It would be a great way to bring politics back in SW without making it a snorefest.

This is what I'm talking about:

    Now that's Star WARS lol
