SPECULATION Darth Vader's Castle and the Knights of Ren

That scene looks like its the same one we saw in TFA when Rey see's the Knights of Ren destruction of Lukes school.

Given a lot of the rumors/talk of how Episode VIII is shaping up right now, I think its likely that this is another vision Rey is having. You're right we don't KNOW, but I think we can make an educated guess here.

 

I remember now, there is some speculatino it be Rey's tribe or the tribe that had possession of Lukes lightsaber.

Either way - its unlikely that Vader's castle in the background given those possibilities.

 

Yep, in the original leaks it was said that the Seven took down a Clan. This clan had acquired Luke's saber (that was picked up by a person called Naga I think and then sold to a rich man who was the Clan leader). The person that Ren strikes down was originally described as the Clan Leader but was then changed to a KoR for some reason in the credits. The original rumours suggested that Rey's parents were part of the clan.

YES! Darth Vader has always been (at least since the PT) an Inverse Space Jesus! (I have argued this on some of the older TFA threads). Meaning that some people (Acolytes of the Beyond --> Knights of Ren) would see Darth Vader as the dark side "savior." It only makes sense that some would see Kylo Ren as the second coming of this dark side "savior" and elevate him to the position of Master of the Knights of Ren. In such a scenario, I could see Snoke occupying some sort of grand pontiff role of the dark side... grooming the eventual dark side savior until he is ready.
