Disney has released new featurette titled Return of a Legend ahead of the highly anticipated premiere of The Book of Boba Fett -- Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, and star Temuera Morrison talk about Boba Fett, along with Robert Rodriguez and Ming-Na Wen. The five of them discuss the decision to bring him back and what to expect from the upcoming Disney+ series.

Favreau references the clear influence of Boba Fett when creating The Mandalorian and how bringing Fett on the show felt 'very right' to him, while Temuera Morrison teases some things about Fett that the show aims to explore:

Favreau then adds that the show will also cover the events between Return of the Jedi and The Mandalorian, and he echoes Morrison's point that the show will explore what Fett is like since those occurrences.

Ming-Na Wen touches on the show's 'rawness' while Robert Rodriguez praises Favreau's script, and Morrison teases lots of action too. He professes that 'it's gonna be exciting for the fans to see'. Thankfully, we won't have to wait much longer, as The Book of Boba Fett is only a week away now, debuting on Wednesday, December 29.
