More Star Wars bits are emerging from the latest issue of Empire magazine, whose January edition will focus on The Book of Boba Fett. The covers were revealed Friday, and yesterday, the first string of interviews with the producers came out. Today, the publication revealed snippets of an interview they'd already teased last week, and it is about Dave Filoni writing the Ahsoka series for Disney Plus, starring Rosario Dawson as the title character.

In the interview, he said of the scripting process:

    He then added:

According to Empire, Filoni is currently writing the series, which is interesting, since last December, Jon Favreau told Good Morning America the same thing -- however, with the casting of some of the main characters already locked down (including Sabine Wren, who will be played in live-action by actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo), it's possible they are finalizing the scripts.

Principal photography is reportedly scheduled to begin in March 2022, around the time The Mandalorian season 3 will wrap. Hayden Christensen is also coming back to the series to play Anakin Skywalker, as we learned last month.

Ahsoka is expected to debut on Disney Plus in 2023.

Can't say I'm a huge Ahsoka fan but I'm very happy for Dave Filoni and fans of the character. I'll check out the show but I'm just not as hyped for it as other star wars stuff

Agreed @Mando LXXXV. As many on here know I am a huge R1 and Cassian Andor fan so obviously impatient as to the ANDOR series.
