    All the backlash from that mob movie.... ruined it. He would have been great now we will never know. I give up on DC. I'll just stick to the graphic novels and comic books.

    Bummer. I think that Ben Affleck's Live By Night flopping had a lot to do with this decision, and it's a shame. Although this hopefully puts him in a better position to focus on producing and acting in the movie instead.
    I'm guessing it'll probably be replaced by a Titans movie with Cyborg as one of the lead characters. Which I honestly wouldn't mind them doing - considering that the plan is to use the character in The Flash (which has now been delayed following complications in production), I don't think it's necessary for every single Justice League member to have their own movie.

    here we go folks.

    so we go back a few months and affleck was hyping Batman to no end. Then it comes out that he wants to get the script right before really committing. Then he gives up the director position and now we find out it's been rewritten.

    I'd put money on this film quietly being put on the back burner and fading into obscurity soon.

    The thought of Matt Reeves doing Batman has me even more hyped for this movie. Affleck's Batman is my favorite live action superhero right now.

    I also find it reassuring that the script was revised and fixed up by Chris Terrio instead of being completely rewritten. It sounds a lot like they're not going to rush this movie for a 2018 release, and I think that that's a good thing in the long run.

    It wouldn't shock me honestly. It's gotta burn that Lego Batman is getting praised all over the place while the DCEU continues to be hated by critics and divisive among fans.
