    I usually haunt the OT and PT forums. I'm not actively trying to avoid spoilers, but I'm not actively collecting them, either. So I do browse the Episode VII forum for spoilers- just not very often.

    But I have noticed a few things about the spoiler threads and the especially people who post them.

    Bluntly, they're @&#%! a--holes.

    Seriously, they are. They tell us we're not good enough to hear their inside information, and they're 100% certain and everybody else is wrong, stupid, and being lied to. They think the fact they might know something we don't entitles them to act like kings and gods. The intelligent discussions we enjoy in the OT and PT forums are hard to have with someone who thinks they are J. J. and we are worms.

    I honestly think over half of the people here who claim to have inside information are making it up, just so they can act important. They see themselves as cool. They have no idea the rest of us see them as insecure #&%!-heads.

    Then there's Viral Hide. A guy who puts all the time and effort into creating and running this community, a guy who actually honors his promises not to reveal what he's been asked not to reveal, a guy who respects copyrights and openly acknowledges the difference between his opinions and his facts.

    But what impresses me most of all is the lack of ego. Viral is here to share the magic of Star Wars, not sell the magic for prestige. Nearly every other person who posts spoilers here (well, of those I've read, and I admit I haven't read all of them) posts spoilers to get us to respect them. Ironically, doing so has made me lose all my respect for them.

    Viral? He doesn't post spoilers to gain my respect. He posts them to share the fun. Ironically, that's how he gained my respect.

    I'm asking everyone to join me in saluting Viral. If you respect him for hosting this Cantina, if you love the down-to-earth way he shares the stuff he knows without acting all high and mighty because he knows it, if you appreciate the way he tries so hard to separate truth from rumors, then please send him one credit with a simple "Thank you" in the comment box.

    Well... Viral is being clever about it on a personal gain instead of hunting attention whoring.

    He comes across that what matters to him most, is constantly getting the leaks on condition he won't publish the actual material.

    That allows him to always stay in the loop with this digital contract of outmost trust. So well played there, Viral. :)

    Whether he's a good person or not, I don't know him personally to say yes or no. I can't judge people by a digital persona, but I do value with immense gratitude for this wonderful site.

    Oh and on a serious note, also I am very appreciative of this forum. It's just great.

    Everything. The like system. The graphic layout. The trophy system is fun, etc etc.

    I love that the backdrop is black instead of the classic white, its that much better.

    Just to throw in my thoughts-

    This site rocks. I was checking it out frequently for any juicy morsel of info on Ep 7 I could find for months before the Cantina opened, at which point it opened up an even bigger world of (mostly) fun and creative conversation with a lot of great posters on this forum. Thanks for doing what you do VH. I look forward to checking this site out frequently as the Star Wars saga continues over the next several years or beyond...
