Deleted Scenes or Audition Videos?

    Along with the news that Krennic was originally intended to have a different fate in Rogue One, we saw a one-minute featurette on Vader's presence in the movie.

    You may or not have noticed this, which Gareth Edwards was seen watching:

    These shots are obviously not in the movie, and they remind me of this, which we saw in one of the Behind the Scenes Tarkin/Leia videos:

    The above scene to me looks like a remake of the Destruction of Alderaan, with Guy Henry and Ingvild Deila, to see how well they can recreate the characters. The Vader thing above, though, doesn't look like anything from the original trilogy. So do we think that's some deleted scene, or was it merely an audition video? I'd assume it's the latter.

    But I thought some people might find this interesting. :)

    Probably both but my opinion is that this was most likely a screen test to see if tarkin and leia were viable AFTER the fact that they were cast
