Did you notice anything ' New ' ?

I noticed the blonde boy see'er from Game of Thrones in the control room as Poe and Finn begin to escape.

 

I noticed Buford (BU-4D) working on the Reistance X-wings on D'Qar. (I don't how I missed him in earlier viewings considering he's big and yellow).


I also noticed Wollivan (played by Warwick Davis) in Maz's castle.

 

So far I noticed that Rey's hair buns are starting to fall out during all the running during the TIE fighter attack on Niima Outpost. Also, I noticed in the final duel when she kicks Kylo...looks like she hit a sensitive area!

I plan on watching it a few dozen more times, so I'll probably notice more...

 

Watching the documentary made me curious. They showed the design team a month after JJ was picked discussing the girl and the other main character (probably Finn). They also talk about how it took a couple of years to make some of the sets.

This leads me to believe the main narrative of the story was in place before JJ. Also, that they had decided before the final scrip some of the set environments. JJ had control of most of the story, but it seems LucasFilm wanted a girl with a mysterious past to be the focal point of the film.

 

i had to rewind that! in the final cut it looks like she kicks him in the stomach, but yeah, from that angle it looks a lot more painful ~ hahaha
that's what he gets for being so tall, i guess.

i spent most of my viewing looking at the art on the walls behind the designers, etc. trying to spot things that maybe we shouldn't see ~ ha!
definitely want to watch a few more times before i jump to conclusions about some things that i think i saw/heard.

 

Watching it in the theater I kept trying to figure out what happens to Kylo Ren's left hand at the end of the duel. At first glance, it appears the hand has been cut off. Then the his hand is back on in the next shot. Now I can see that his arm is behind a pile of snow, which makes the hand look detached from the arm.

 

I enjoyed watching Rey's force-vision and the cantina scenes again. There was just SO much to observe...I see something new every time!

 

i realized watching the fight feature that Kylo Ren is still hitting himself when he's fighting Rey.
i thought he'd stopped. the camera just never catches it, but you can see in the sequences they show that he's still doing it.

kinda throws my theory about him channeling the Dark against Finn specifically out the window. hahaha

 

If only he had lines -_-

 

In the Jakku marketplace, I can't help but hear someone repeatedly shouting, "A--hole!"

 

Maybe that's how they earned their PG-13 rating

3PO does have a golden arm again at the end. I think one of the documentaries references this.

 

C-3PO has the his old arm because JJ Abrams wanted the new red arm to make it look like he aged in a way but Anthony Daniels wanted the original gold arm so him and jj had a disagreement. It ended up being that the arm was red and in the final appearance of C-3PO jj let him use the original arm just for the heck of it.

 

Bringing back the gold arm with no explanation is rather silly in my opinion.

 

Seventh time last night, and I still saw new things...like Unkar Plutt's weird chest-plate

 

I noticed when Poe flies in to the oscillator he collapses the wings on his X-wing, and after explosions BB-8 ducks in the back of his ship.

 

Actually they are going to explain why he got a red arm in Lego Force Awakens. My explanation for bringing back the gold arm is that it matches the rest of the droid. It's like how computers are normally sold with the same color DVD drive as the rest of the case.

 

i love that moment! such a cool little detail with BB-8!

 

Due to the contrast on my tv, i didnt realize the jakku village is in a crater.I'm referring to the wide shot when kylos ship lands.
