Do you want Disney to always focus the main story on the Skywalkers?

That's cool my friend but just out of curiosity I have to ask, would you still want to see a Skywalker in every single saga movie even if we were like in episode 21? Wouldn't you find this even a teeny bit repetitive after seven trilogies and twenty one movies?

Yes. Forever. Palpatine, Kenobi, Yoda all...all about them too. Can cut off another trilogy for the haters.

I guess I don't understand the fascination with "ending the Skywalkers." After all, aren't we all descended from generations after generations of some ancient "Lee", "Zhang", "Wang", "Nguyen", "Garcia", "Gonzalez", "Hernandez", "Smith", "Smirnov" or "Muller" that preceded us? (As of 2015, these were the most common surnames here on Earth...) Anakin Skywalker is just the beginning of this particular "family" tree...

I mean sure, not every generation or family tree "branch" includes individuals who have compelling backstories and adventures, but there are very interesting stories to tell throughout any particular "family" history. Accordingly, I want the episodic Star Wars films to continue to focus on the Skywalkers. In order to avoid each successive generation telling the same stories over and over again, or to skip over "boring" Skywalker generations, I have no problem with periodic time jumps. But the possibilities for new stories within a particular family tree are as varied as the endless, different (yet sometimes repetitive) stories that have been told throughout the history of mankind. How many interesting stories are there that have been told since the dawn of civilization (or even before)?

There is plenty of time to explore the Skywalker family tree whether it be Episode IV or Episode XXI... After all, there is a reason we are told that these stories took place "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..."

    Episodic movies = Skywalker 1000%

Stand Alone = Hell to the no. Maybe a fleeting glimpse of Luke staring off into the two suns as we close our movie on the story of Jawas.

No, I want Disney to [EXPLETIVE DELETED] off and stop messing up Star Wars.
Oh, and for them to pay back all the money I spent years on collecting SW books which suddenly became irrelevant when they took control and is now only fit for hamster bedding.
    ;)

    The Saga films - Yes!
    Anthology films - Nope!

I love the Skywalker family: Shmi, Anakin, Luke, Leia, Kylo and hopefully Rey and I would love for their story to be continued generation after generation.

The anthology films though are the stories of other Star Wars characters, but they probably will have a Skywalker in some of them...

Rogue One had Darth Vader and Leia. Han Solo is about the future husband of a Skywalker and father of a Skywalker descendant. And to be honest, I am kinda hoping for a Shmi Skywalker anthology film so we can learn more about her life and the life of her parents/family.

I agree with most. The Saga, even if they go into episodes 10,11 and 12, should have the Skywalker family in and hem in some form or another. Skywalker is Star Wars.
The anthologys are perfect for goIng different routes and taking chances.

I would like another trilogy of Episodes 10,11 and 12 with the Skywalker descendants rebuilding the Jedi Order more than just SW Anthology films because the Saga films of future Skywalkers tell interesting stories than anthologies. Even though I loved Rogue One and am looking forward to the Han Solo film and future Anthologies. But I want Episodes 10-12 the most. I think there should be a Saga trilogy of Skywalkers for each generation. Not only should they do Episodes X-XII but Episodes XIII-XV too. Perhaps LFL/Disney should do Episodes 13-15 first than go back and do Episodes 10-12 with the further adventures of Rey and Finn and co just like LFL did Episodes 4-6 first than Episodes 1-3.

I would love it if SW at one moment moved past the Skywalkers maybe a bit like the EU did. After the ST, give us a few stories about non Skywalker characters and maybe even one or two trilogies before getting back to them again. This would keep the stories fresh and interesting without having to resort to the same Goku and friends have bigger badder enemies now to fight so let's pump up the Saiyans once more cause only they can defeat the bad guys cause everyone else is a loser and Krillin's already dead.

That's a thing I loved about Rogue One. They gave us a bunch of non related non Skywalkers or Solos and made them into a band of lovable interesting characters. More SW movies and trilogies can follow this formula.

I agree. I love the Skywalkers but it's as I have mentioned before, when is too much going to be enough? How much more Skywalker turned evil needs to be redeemed or nobody can save us but a Skywalker can we take before it gets boring?

Yes. There is no SW without the Skywalkers.
After ST the focus should be in Kylo's twin kids. Jacen and Jaina :)

    Absolutely not.
They'll never be able to drag the story away from the legacy of Vader and Luke or the Skywalker's all-powerful force abilities.
And if they did change that, then they may as not make it about the Skywalker family!

I wouldn't mind this trilogy ending with episode IX and maybe a new set of trilogy movies based on another family or hero mentioned in the Journal of the Whills (Old Republic ideally). Meanwhile, they could have standalone movies where Skywalkers and Solos can continue to appear but not necessarily as the main characters.

Yes. Main Star Wars movies should keep Anakin's story as central. I would be ok with Star Wars before Anakin to not have a Skywalker as long as the focus is around how Anakin came to be.

They would be throwing away billions of dollars. To risky to attempt to shed what made something so special and valuable. Spin offs are fine though.
