"Rogue One" was an entertaining movie. But I find it a bit laughable that I"m supposed to regard it as an improvement upon the Prequel movies. But if that's how you guys feel . . . whatever.

Sometimes, I feel that there is something about the Prequel movies that make people take a good long look at humanity . . . and they don't like what they see. The Original Trilogy gave the public a semi-illusional view about the true nature of humanity. So did "The Force Awakens". "Rogue One" was a bit more honest in the ambiguous nature of humanity, but it provided the good feel illusion in the end. Of all the Star Wars movies, I feel that the Prequel movies revealed a more honest and probably ugly look at humanity. And Lucas did not provide anything in the narrative to allow the public to sink back into its illusions.

Perhaps that is why I can never regard "Rogue One" as superior to the Prequel movies.
