    Yeah, it's a bit odd...
    my first thought was that with Yueh having already betrayed the Atreides in Part 1, that perhaps Thufir's exposure had be held back to Part 2 rather than have it appear that the family couldn't trust anyone at all... but it took a while before I realised that couldn't happen as his scene (as shown in the pic previously posted) is with Peter who has been taken out during the tooth scene, so can't appear again later.

    I guess the only way around if it is ultimately included, is either in a longer edit of Pt.1 or to cut Thufir's scene into an exchange with a character other that Peter in Pt.2

    I've seen speculation (probably just popular fancasting that it could be Bill Skaarsgard (already related to the guy who plays the Baron) or Barry Keoghan.

    I thought Tom Holland might be fun given Chani's casting of Zendaya, but that's maybe too meta and I'm not sure Tom is all that imposing. Though he could be a good "opposite" of Paul.

    Alfie Allen could be fun too.

    I finally saw this movie. Yes, yes I'm old and slow. I enjoyed it. I was definitely a change from the 1984 version. Visually a feast, Paul actually looked like a 15 year old kid(even though Timothee is like 27) and acted like one.
    Best line of the whole movie: Oscar Isaac: "I wanted to be a pilot". :D

    EDIT:
    Okay I just saw a YT vid regarding the Dune lyrics in the song you posted. "walk without rhythm, it won't attract the worm" and "don't be shocked by the tone of my voice, it's the new weapon, the weapon of choice". Did you post that vid already knowing the lyrics? I mean it's gotta be why you posted it yes? If not then that's just way trippy like a spice high.

    This is one pretty yet devious looking dude, plus he has the chops to pull off a Feyd role. One of this guys great features is his hair which in Dune '21, Harkonens do not have due to their environment.
    I really hope DV chooses to keep his hair intact. I can't see Mr. Butler with a bald head playing Feyd.

    It is going to be very intersting to see what they do with Irulan in D2, and Lady Fenring for that matter. They're being introduced very late in the story, so they'll have to be given a focus of some sort to make the "correct" impact, so that's gonna be interesting. I'm excite! :D


    Oh, this is going to be so bonkers. Granted, I just watched Walken in a very non-crazy/donw-to-earth role in Severence, but if they go full Walken with the Emperor, that'll be insane! And probably mad-good, too :cool:

    I'm gonna watch this movie at the cinema sooo many times :rolleyes:

    Yea man. Walken and Villeneuve? Oh myyy. I'm kind of hoping they go full Walken. Just let him do his thing and be who he is. That all out Prophecy/King of New York type approach.
