I kept the (Kashyyyk) poncho on because it reminded me of ANH(farm boy) Luke. Decent game, Respawn did a great job considering the blasphemy DICE unleashed on us in Battlefront 2. No matter how good Jedi Fallen Order is you can't please everyone, so I understand why some dislike 12-15 hour campaign, but it beats DICE's 5 hour campaign. I don't even believe the guys at DICE studios are really Star Wars fans after giving us that pile of trash. I truly believe Respawn studios are fans of Star Wars, this game to me is a labor of love. I had to get used to the platforming, for me turned out to be a fun game. I'm just waiting for a great Star Wars RPG. Can Rockstar or BioWare take up the mantle plz? The Outer Worlds by Obsidian Entertainment looks good maybe they can take a shot.

I’m still making my way through the game. I took a break from it tonight to watch “South Park” and appreciated all the references made in tonight’s episode to “Fallen Order.”

Are there different Difficulty settings like Jedi Padawan, Jedi Knight, Jedi Master and Jedi Grand Master?

From the easiest to the most difficult: Story mode ----> Jedi Knight ----> Jedi Master ----> Jedi Grand Master

I like how increasing the difficulty doesn't make the enemies have more health; it just influences their aggressiveness/damage dealt and your parry timing window.

Yes, I was playing in Jedi Master mode but got frustrated and raged on the combat. You have to time your strikes, your opponents can break your defense when you parry, so I played in story mode. I'm definitely playing again in Jedi Master mode when I finish the campaign. I work long hours so when I get a chance I play. I'm not like others that sit and finish the game in 2 days.

That’s what I surmised. Harder difficulty, longer gaming experiance.

Also, when you start the game go to options, then visuals, choose performance mode and check that mode on. Your parry, and combat will work much better. A tip I got from Jason Ward of MakingStarWars.net : https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-bYKtOrWmdO1na4kYEn_t9kI1tHCGcv4

Not necessarily, in Japanese visual novels and role playing games, there are often multiple routes you can take with regards to the narrative but only one canon ending.

So something similar to Dark Souls and Code Vein?

Forgive the thread necromancy (I blame the undead Nightsisters of Dathomir!), but I finally went back and finished Fallen Order this past week as I realised my bargain bin copy of Survivor hadn’t even installed and I ought to finish the previous game first.

Smashed through the remaining content quite quickly and then nerding it out trying to complete the trophies… I’ve got everything done bar ONE jump puzzle and by the Gods that frakkin’ thing is an annoyance!

The obstacle course thing in these games is so darned annoying... And they tend to pop up just as the drama gets going, which stops the story and momentum dead.

At the very least, in the story mode, there should be a "wanna skip this section?" options once you've failed three times, or something.

That said, the stories are pretty cool and engaging :)

yeah, the skip function in story mode would be a god send at this point… I’ve repeated this jump/swing/jump/grab thing so many times now that it’s become a chore.
I just can’t walk from it though as it’s literally the last 2% of completing all maps and secrets :(
