It appears that Pedro Pascal might be recording some lines for an unknown project with Skywalker Sound from afar.

Many fans have been wondering over the last few months about Pedro Pascal's filming schedule, given that he'll be shooting HBO's The Last of Us series in Canada well into 2022.  Well, it seems like he's recording some lines remotely, but we don't exactly know what project they're for. The nugget of news arrives via Ear Candy's IG account (hat tip to r/StarWarsLeaks), who shared a picture taken with the famous actor after a recording session in which Skywalker Sound was involved. Check out the original post below:

Of course, this doesn't automatically mean Pascal is 100% recording for The Mandalorian, as rumors claiming Din Djarin has a small presence in The Book of Boba Fett have been swirling for a while, plus some fans are saying the Ithorian seen in the trailer sounds like him too. In the past, most of his Mandalorian work has been done in recording booths, since Din Djarin rarely took off his helmet, but Season 2's finale marked a big change for the character, who might be seen helmetless more often moving forward. Another possibility is that he could simply be recording some ADR for HBO's show, since Skywalker Sound also works with companies outside Disney's umbrella, but we have no confirmation of their involvement with that series.

The cauldron of news about live-action Star Wars projects is starting to heat up again after a somewhat quiet period of time -- The Book of Boba Fett debuted a first trailer earlier this week and is getting an extended preview on D+ Day next week, and The Mandalorian's third season has finally started shooting.

Anyhow, Ear Candy is a Calgary-based sound business, and The Last of Us is currently shooting there, so it seems Pedro Pascal won't be departing Canada any time soon to go work physically on The Mandalorian, nor any other Lucasfilm projects.
