Okay I have purchased the Empire magazine issue and have just got home and managed to read through the main section of it. Some interesting and potentially spoilers/ begging for speculation points:

    - Snoke might not actually be 25 foot tall, Andy Serkis would not distinguish whether Snoke is that tall or in fact just seated that high up or something along the lines of that.

    - The Knights of Ren use something called a 'force back', and was the last scene filmed.

    - Snoke is partially to blame for Kylo Ren being seduced to the dark side.

    - Snoke is the Emperor Palpatine of the new films, and will continue to remain very important throughout the trilogy.

Some really interesting things. I did not see anybody else post so thought i'd start this thread

    This is all it says:

At 21.30 on November 6, 2014, at Pinewood on S Stage, Star Wars: The Force Awakens wrapped with Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren unleashing a 'Force Back'. Don't run to Wookieepedia - a Force Back is a term used by the crew to describe... What exactly?
"We'll just let that dangle, shall we?" says Kennedy.

    It's a flashback then I guess?

That's what I would say. Most of us assume that the shots of the KOR in the rain is from the "flashback sequence". I think the crew were calling it a "force back"'because it is a scene from the past that is scene through the use of the force.

Might just be the way the author describes it rather than how Kennedy did. It isn't in quotes so he may be assuming it is a move. Maybe she said something like "They did a Force Back."

I think we are starting to over analyze every word of every quote. In that scene they obviously unleash some sort mayhem considering all the dead bodies on the ground. I don't think they used a "force back". We know from different sources that there is a flashback sequence. The crew came up with that moniker to likely describe the scene since it is likely part of the flashback sequence. The quote though is worded in such a way to get us thinking about it and debating it but given what we do know I don't think it is anything more than what I have already stated.

On Snoke: "He was critical in the seduction of Ren to the dark side. He is a hugely important part of the story and will continue to be." Sounds like more than "partially to blame."

MSW said "It is also noted that han reveals he believes in the force at the same place he tried to debunk its existence as a young man."

Can someone give a quote from the magazine itself? I'm confused about what this means. Are they talking about the Falcon, which we already know from the trailers where he says "it's all true", or is this getting into backstory where Han actually tried to debunk the idea of the Force to Maz? We know he was aware of the Force already in ANH, though he thought is was all "simple tricks and nonsense."

For my American "friends", I am sure you would be into this stuff, so I have taken pictures of all the detailed looks at the various lightsabers of the past films.

If you need better close up shots, just holla at your boy.

I haven't been able to get this issue. Is there any Carrie Fisher interview in it, and if possible, can someone post it here?

"Force Back" = "The Force is back" = "The Force Awakens??"

If KyLo is Han jnr, and Snoke 'radicalised' him, does that mean that Snoke was someone who had access to the 'halls of power' of the New Republic? Could it be someone we already know but not an Imperial?

Unless he is lying or mistaken, Serkis has said he is an alien species we have never seen before. So it would have to be someone in the Republic we have heard of but have never seen.

Wish they would have added the ANH variant rather than lumping it in with the ESB saber. Especially since they have the ROTS version too. They also need the other two Vader sabers.
