    I wonder why the FO sends in Snow Trooopers on Crait and not just Stormtrooers. I mean, there could be and we just haven't seen any shots of them but it's pretty evident that the planets environment is non-toxic to humans (Leia standing on Crait, Poe running/sliding into the trench and the open cockpits for the Ski Speeders). Just curious.

    I think it's because Crait is covered in white salt, which looks like snow.

    Maybe it is cold. We see what looks like steam (could be salt dust) around the troopers and we also see Leia wearing some giant, thick blnaket-robe-thing. They could be using that suit for the dusty environmental reasons too. Here is Luke and Leia from the comics. They are either wearing extra tunics for dust or cold, or both.

    They also deploy Snow Troopers on dust, ash and salt planets. Crait happens to be quite cold and features salt storms.

    I wonder if we are going to see this on Crait's salt-flats at night:

    I am actually more interested in wondering what is IN Crait that they are all there. We see Kylo going in with Troops. We see the MF flying through a cavern being chased by TIEs, and then we see the Skimmers and Gorilla walkers. I know we hear that it was once a Rebel outpost, but if all they're sending out to confront the Gorilla Walkers are skimmers, what sort of resources could possibly be there that are of any value? Is Luke on Crait with Rey? Why is Kylo there?

    Ah ok, I may be a little behind in my story points. I agree the planet is chock full of crystals, have they already explained how they were used? That's the part that I didn't make the connection on. I just thought it happened to be made out of crystals and that it was mined for other purposes previously. Was there any information in this in novelization or other supplemental materials?

    Any idea when can we expect the cover to be revealed? If the issue comes out on November 30 I thought they were going to show it a week in advance. Didn't happen. Well, tomorrow seems like a right time.
