Enfys Nest Identity Reveal

Erin is in Solo the age Carrie was in ANH. I have no problem with that. I have absolutely no problem with a 19y.o. kicking butt.

 

It was surprising, but not in a negative way. I simply accepted it, I'm fine with her. Somebody (sorry, don't remember who and where!) pointed out that this is how we would feel watching TFA if we didn't know who's playing Kylo.

 

i loved the reveal, loved that she's a kid, loved the character overall. easily the best new thing out of the movie for me.

 

that's really interesting! i guess it would have been a bit difficult to pull off a hidden gender, though not impossible.
i'd really love to see more of this character in the EU! : D

 

I want more stories about her. I found that bit fascinating. The epilogue in the Solo novel has a follow up to her story as far as where she was taking the coaxium.

 

When I watched Solo for the first time, I was convinced at first that Enfys Nest was Qi'ra. I was trying to see through the writing to discover the plots and twists, and since we'd obviously see Qi'ra again, I was theorizing that she had ended up an action-goon slave in the underworld somehow. When that didn't pan out I was clueless as to her ID, and when it was revealed she was a completely unknown (to our storyline) with a separate story and agenda, I really dug that!

Personally, I loved Enfys Nest and her character/story (having picked up her mother's mantle) and the entire rag-tag team of proto-Rebels. I hope they turn up again in some future project

 

It appears that I'm one of the very few that's not a fan of EN. I have nothing against the actress nor the role itself, I was just very underwhelmed when the helmet was removed.

For me it was a disappointment. No matter how hard I try I just cannot get it into my head that she is the leader of a group of pirates and (as the Databank puts it) "An extremely dangerous marauder" and "Ferocious warrior".

Sorry folks, just being honest.

 

When I saw it, it was unexpected but it did not do anything for my experience of the movie either positively or negatively.

 

I was surprised to see who was under the mask, but I like surprises. Kids younger than her fought in WWII and Vietnam. Someone with her skills at that age will no doubt be very formidable in years to come. I also like the idea that Enfy Nest is a mantle that can be passed on, so the character could appear almost anytime before or after this movie. I wouldn't mind a graphic novel or even a cameo in one of the upcoming live action or animated series.

 

Loved it, reminded me of the Boushh reveal as Leia. Nicely done

 

I liked the reveal. It did throw me off, but in a good way. And yeah, I thought there was going to be a connection with Enfys and Beckett as well, and when she removed the helmet, for a hot second I thought she might be the daughter of Beckett and Val. But, a good character, and one I would like to see more of.
