How did you guys feel about the reveal of Enfys Nest? Did you think that she was too young? Didn't fit the character?

To me, I was taken off guard of how young Enfys was. She just didn't fit the character, I thought. I thought at first that there was going to be some relation between Enfys and Beckett, how Beckett was talking about her when they met.

    What do you think?

Erin is in Solo the age Carrie was in ANH. I have no problem with that. I have absolutely no problem with a 19y.o. kicking butt.

It was surprising, but not in a negative way. I simply accepted it, I'm fine with her. Somebody (sorry, don't remember who and where!) pointed out that this is how we would feel watching TFA if we didn't know who's playing Kylo.

Being both young and female was a surprise to me, I guess because of all the bulky armor and the voice-changing helmet. I absloutely loved the reveal and the character!
You could also see the shock on Han's face but Beckett was curiously less surprised, at least visibly. Or maybe he just has a better poker face than Han.

Also, something I did notice with the Solo novel: the character is initially referred to as a "she" when Enfys Nest first confronts Beckett at the train heist.

that's really interesting! i guess it would have been a bit difficult to pull off a hidden gender, though not impossible.
i'd really love to see more of this character in the EU! : D

I want more stories about her. I found that bit fascinating. The epilogue in the Solo novel has a follow up to her story as far as where she was taking the coaxium.

When I watched Solo for the first time, I was convinced at first that Enfys Nest was Qi'ra. I was trying to see through the writing to discover the plots and twists, and since we'd obviously see Qi'ra again, I was theorizing that she had ended up an action-goon slave in the underworld somehow. When that didn't pan out I was clueless as to her ID, and when it was revealed she was a completely unknown (to our storyline) with a separate story and agenda, I really dug that!

Personally, I loved Enfys Nest and her character/story (having picked up her mother's mantle) and the entire rag-tag team of proto-Rebels. I hope they turn up again in some future project :)

It appears that I'm one of the very few that's not a fan of EN. I have nothing against the actress nor the role itself, I was just very underwhelmed when the helmet was removed.

For me it was a disappointment. No matter how hard I try I just cannot get it into my head that she is the leader of a group of pirates and (as the Databank puts it) "An extremely dangerous marauder" and "Ferocious warrior".

    Sorry folks, just being honest.

When I saw it, it was unexpected but it did not do anything for my experience of the movie either positively or negatively.
