    I keep hearing mention of a documentary of Episode 1 that is to help explain it all the much better. I have heard it mention prior and then in a recent podcast I heard it mentioned again.....but for the life of me I can not remember what it is called.

    Can anyone help? or direct me?

    Regarding the ins and outs of the movie better.....I hear if you watch said video then you will have a better understanding of Episode I and the ummmppp behind it.

    It is a very revealing documentary and probably the best chronicle of any SW film. When they all watch the first rough cut of Episode 1 it is shocking to watch their reactions. Rock McCallum looks sick to his stomach as even Lucas looks flustered because he knows he can drastically change the ending at that point. Ben Burt seems like the only one who really ever challenged Lucas.

    It's a shame you don't get this type of access for Episode 2 & 3 as I think Lucas realized the Episode 1 Documentary was a bit too revealing.

    That documentary is so fun to watch imo. Good inside look on the making of TPM, even though people might not like the movie, it still is a good watch for people interested in both star wars and movies.

    The documentary is what makes the film good? If anything it explains why the film sucked. Lucas calling all the shots without anyone saying, "This is stupid, George. Don't do this."

    Say what you will about the PT, but GL knew how to put out great extra material.

    Disney has not impressed in this department so far. The making ofs are basically a bunch of people telling how great everybody is, what a wonderful experience they are going through, the fans are great, Star Wars is like family and yada yada.

    In the original release of TPM's dvd has a bonus disk with about 10 hours of extra material. The making off of TPM is better than the movie itself!

    No, 10 hrs total. I dont know how they released the dvd's and Blue Ray discs after the first TPM dvd that I rented back in 2000. But that bonus disc is priceless.

    Perhaps Disney should release a major documentary on the first two movies of the Sequel Trilogy. Perhaps I would enjoy those two movies a lot more.

    Or perhaps I should watch the major documentary about the Original Trilogy again. Perhaps it could finally lay to rest some of my misgivings regarding that particular trilogy.

    That documentary is awesome. I've rewatched it several times!
    its sad to see how happy jake Lloyd was back then and now he's kinda messed up.
