    Looks like the new A-Wing is inspired by Ralph McQuarrie, not unlike the X-Wings of TFA. Can't wait to see it in action!

    I'm an X-Wing kind of guy, but I would love to see some A-Wings in VIII. There does seem to be a few points of similarities, but it's hard to tell because of how the set photo is cropped.

    I love that they're using old McQuarrie art for inspiration. There's something about his art that is so otherworldly but still familiar.

    In the new issue of Star Wars Insider there is a short story tie in to Bloodline, that takes place before, about an ace pilot participating in a high skilled race on Corellia. A competing pilot that goes by the name of Han Solo, who sponsors this race, is piloting a prototype Double A-wing. This could be a Double A-wing that was mentioned in the story if it got past that stage.

    I love the A wings but I don't want to see them in Episode 8, I want to see new ships. We already got x wings and ties so please show us something we havent seen before.

    I thought the new ships we got like Kylos shuttle, Leias transport, the FO troop transport were cool. And I get why TIes and X wings were used in the force awakens. But I was hoping that in episode 8 when we saw the republic or when we saw new sytems we would get some new ships... I guess well see

    Yeah but you would have thunk that they'd want more upgraded weaponry in a span of 31+ years...I'll admit that Kylo's shuttle is slightly original but Leia's shuttle just looked like a recycled concept for the tantive iv

    I thought that shuttle leia landed on Takodana in looked nothing like the Tantive IV but maybe its just a different point of view... Im willing to give the resistance a little slack because being a resistance they dont have unlimited resources, but I really wanted to see something new from the republic

    I've been looking, but with Prince Harry in the cockpit for scale, it doesn't look like it would be very roomy. So I'm going to say no, it's for a single pilot and be proved wrong later. :)

    I read that short story prequel to Bloodline in the SW Insider and Han piloted a prototype Double A-wing. It didn't say if it had 2 seats but just a different look. Sleeker style if I remember. So was just a guess.

    Oh, I'm not arguing with you. I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out be a double A-Wing, I just don't think it is. I honestly don't mind if I'm proven wrong.
