    I think more than likely that Rey will rebuild the current saber. If she does I would like to see the hilt look different thus making it a new saber. However, I’m not confident this will happen and we will have the same Anakin/Luke/Rey saber as before. As far as other sabers showing up in the movie, we might see some new ones if the Knights of Ren end up having sabers. While I would like to see the KOR have sabers, I’m also not confident this will occur.

    I think it depends on whether the Anakin saber crystal was split or not. A split crystal could mean dual sabers or a double ended saber/staff. But she could create a new saber with one half of the saber... maybe gives the other half to Ben if he's redeemed or needs a new saber. I think they've been the reason for the color of sabers kind of ambiguous, sometimes it's the color of the crystal, sometimes it's the nature of the crystal, sometimes it's the nature of the wielder of the saber... there's no reason why Anakin's saber crystal would change from blue.

    Yeah, it can only look more raw or if a dark sider uses it, it could bleed red. Still hoping to see this on the big screen on day.

    I need to see that image bigger! Is it confirmed in canon that the crystal is whole? I don't read the books. I remember seeing the split saber in the movie but haven't see stills.

    I thought it was pretty clear that it split right at the crystal... I just wasn't positive that the crystal had split. Looks like it here.

    Soooo.... good chance we see Rey with two blades of some sort? Can you imagine Rey and Ben both holding blades that came from Anakin's saber? A lot of potential symbolism.

    I went nt on 34 Years from ANH to TFA then add 21 Years the time between AOTC to AHN Which is the rough bit as I’m not sure of the exact length of time between them & I’m not sure exactly when Anakin created this Lightsaber all we know is that he has lost a couple :p before this one.

    according to Rumors the blade will be like Kylos and it will be fixed also she will be wearing an Outfit Similar to her Costume in TFA
