    I was thinking about what the last episode of the trilogy might be called and thought maybe:

    Rise of the Jedi??

    If Luke gets killed and Rey manages to save Ben, perhaps it will be their legacy to reinstate the new Jedi Order in Luke's name?

    I'm a little surprised this tread is already made. The names aren't determined until the script is complete. We don't even know what VIII is titled, or what that will be about, let alone IX.

    yeh, lately the question of balance with the force has become more prevalent, how is it balanced, what puts it out of balance.
    so some title around that kind of idea seems a good direction to go.

    The title of IX should bring to mind something coming to a finish. For example, Return of the Jedi had the word "return" and it implied the bringing back of something important, (whether the title is interpreted as the return of the jedi order itself, the return of Luke, or possibly the return of Anakin Skywalker.)

    With that said, I would like IX to be along the lines of The Final Battle or The Last Conflict, or something denoting a big showdown to end all showdowns.
