    Spark of Hope is the strong contender due to the numerous spark references and the line in the crawl.

    Other possibilities:
    Rey I think is a figure of rebirth so my guess for a long time has been Rebirth of the Jedi.

    I was thinking about this too. It could be interesting to finish the Skywalker Saga arc by echoing the title of the original movie "A New Hope".

    The Old Hope
    The Eternal Hope

    Something like that where hope always springs anew but really it's the same thread of hope continuing.

    Seriously though, outside of the spinoffs, here's how these movies tend to be laid out:

    (Article, Adjective, Noun)
    A New Hope
    The Phantom Menace (phantom is technically a noun, but it is still describing what type of menace we have)
    The Last Jedi

    (Article, Noun, Verb)
    The Empire Strikes Back
    The Force Awakens

    (Verb, "of the" preposition, Noun")
    Return of the Jedi
    Attack of the Clones
    Revenge of the Sith

    We haven't had any "of the" names in the new trilogy yet, so I like to think that that's the next naming convention that will be used.

    Since "The Last Jedi" establishes that title words can be repeated, though not necessarily if from the same naming convention (because that might sound too familiar) I might suggest this as a possible title:

    Star Wars Episode IX: Strike of the Rebellion

    Alternatively, "Spark of the Rebellion" might work better with the ST themes, though it doesn't quite fit that formula as well.

    But being completely honest, this is really what I want to happen.

    This would be cool too, but I'd also want to save this title for the last Star Wars movie to come out.

    It strikes me that "Duel of Fates" would've been a great name for this film. Or even "Battle of the Heroes". "Clash of the Lightsabers" as well has a good ring to it, but alas, all soundtracks names from previous films.

    Maybe a riff off of those?
    "Clash of Fates", "Clash of Destiny", "Clash of the Knights"
    I'd quite like to see "Skywalker", "Darth Vader" or "Dark Side" in the title. "Legacy" and "legend" might be good words to throw in.

    As mentioned above by @Unseen and @master_shaitan ,

    Star Wars: The Final Hope is a really good title but maybe something a bit more positive in vibe would be more suitable? :)

    Star Wars: Skywalker's Legacy is a really great title too!

    I think the title will need to summarise the whole saga to bring a closure.

    In my opinion, possibly
    Star Wars: The Spark of Hope is alright. I hope JJ surprises us with the title!

    I’m trying to think of a way they could honor Carrie/Leia in the title but can’t think of anything.

    Shadow of a Princess?

    Legacy of the Skywalkers?

    Meh.


    I think hope or rebellion will be in the title.
